yeah idk what really was conflicting with it but i went into the gamemode sandbox files and just looked inside the player file inside it somewhere said jump boost, so i just straight up deleted the script in which it add's the player speed + the boost speed together

Is it ULib and ULX only or do you have some other things installed? I tested it once again and it works fine with these two. You can see for yourself if your speed changes with cl_showpos 1 command, if there's no difference in velocity then something is indeed conflicting and I would appreciate if you shared more info

Y'know i think Tomato is right, i just now noticed the mod doesn't get rid of the jump boost with ULX??

it works fine with ULX on my end, no issues at all

For some reason this mod doesn't work with the ULX mod enabled. Is there any way to make it work with it enabled? No errors pops up so I'm not sure why the problem is occurring.

once downloaded it will work automatically if the addon is enabled, you disable or enable it via console command in the description

I updated the mod with both PlayerSpawn and Un/DuckSpeed changes. I mentioned you in Changes tab.

Very nice addon and pretty much essential for any standard gameplay experience, but there's some changes I'd recommend for you:

PLAYER.DuckSpeed and PLAYER.UnDuckSpeed are 0.2, which makes crouching way too fast compared to Half Life 2's. On my local copy, I've reconfigured your addon and set those values to 0.3. With those values crouching feels significantly smoother and more similar to Half Life 2.

I also changed the hook used to PlayerSpawn , as using InitPostEntity would randomly cause weird movement issues when transitioning from one level to the next. If you feel like it, you might wanna apply these changes to this public addon as well 😎

Thank you for this! I've been playing with some friends and family, some of them don't have much experience with games, so the jump boost / bunny hopping timed properly was giving a huge advantage to the more experienced players

@Rego There's a line In the sandbox player_class file that adds jump boost, somewhere near the bottom delete "move:SetVelocity(forward * speedAddition + move:GetVelocity())" and the boost is disabled.

For whatever gamemode you want to remove jump boost for, there might be a similar player_class file that includes the same code.

And what do you advise me to do in this case? I really wanna play with the speed limiter :C

If i do it then it will break any gamemode that changes player movement, cant risk something like that

it will work only in sandbox, its just how I coded it. I could make it work everywhere but thats not the point of the mod

In many gamemodes doesn´t work, Do you know how I can do to put it manually? like to make it work in NO compatible gamemodes?
