I have not updated it in ages. If I ever pick up HoI4 again I'll see how OWB works right now and if need be update it. The mod was made for the purpose of having fun with OWB as a minor irrelevant nation originally and made it for myself then shared.

I would update it as is without playing the game but I don't know how much has changed in the OWB code so I'd have to play a bit, then look at their code, then change it. Sorry for the inconvenience to anyone who used the mod if it's outdated/doesn't work anymore.

Does this mod work with the current OWB's? I didn't realize I couldn't advance tech. Aside from some minor advancements from focuses or events. Been Stealing some stuff, but even if I steal and advancement in a category of tech i can't then research things in that.

Enable tech advancements gamerule in setting up a new game. Lets you go to that tab that has the tech tiers on it and research them like any other research, they take a long time tho. Dont know if the AI uses it dont play with it myself.

Mod was updated over here, vanilla decisions work with it, uses caps instead of Political Power.

I've run into a huge problem: this mod is incompatible with the new scavenging system. Having this mod active disables it.

I agree with kapolis. I really don't like playing as the brotherhood and having the "become civilized" option.

It's possible that I'll have to update it at some point, it's just that I've not been playing HoI4 for a while and got exams to worry about for my last year of college, so will get my head around it when I find the time. ^^

This mod is broken, it works but it removes the scavenging+drastic measures decisions for some reason.

for practice, no. the mod is already perfect. but for immersion it would be good to do. some words also lack upper case for the first letter, which is even less important.(but still good!)

@cole ignios. Do you run any other Old world Blues mods alongside this one? If not I'll look into one thing that I assume could be causing it, but chances are it's not because of my mod, since I've not really modified anything that would be of essence enough to cause any errors.

Holy crap, thank you for this mod. I felt like I was "forced" to play countries, this gives me all of the options. I appreciate the cost in factories and time, it feels "right".

Crashes the game every time around 2280, date different on a campaign basis, but always around the same point and theres no way to bypass. Please update

Most likely, yes. All the mod does is it adds a few new decisions and drops the coring states restrictions. Therefore, there is 95% chance it won't interfere with any other mod, and thus, should be usable in a submod package.

oh yeah, the reason for this is you need to use the factories for the project, and yeah, whilst painful I did it so it's not a cheap or easy process as it literally allows you to redefine the limits of tactical advantage you can have over others.

@Alsinir I experimented with some things and found out that I not only had to have 100 civilian factories, but I also needed to make sure that they weren't building anything. It was a real pain that I couldn't manufacture anything for a whole in-game year.

I tried using this as the NCR and it was my understanding that you needed 100 Civ factories and 1000 Political Power to move into the "Advanced" tech tree. I have both. What am I doing wrong?
