Dr. Antonio 7 Jun, 2019 @ 1:45pm
You make the most beautiful hull designs, Dr. Skeeter.
Dr. Skeeter  [author] 4 Jun, 2019 @ 12:23am
All vanilla, sorry.
NTSFMagellan 4 Jun, 2019 @ 12:23am
Could You do it with Window mods and small ship parts mods, so it can be even more kickass.... (Somehow.)

Dr Dar Sith Skeeter

Well, that would work

however, perhaps it's not rust, but something caused by acids?

Or, an RCS
Or, a planet

Or some artistic leeway (Like that could happen in space engineers.)

So, awsome build!

Also, looks more like a brownish-paint to me.

So, maybe it was a brown paint done to protect it from rusting!
Or, it's a combination of :

Atmosphere
RCS
Paint
Artistic Leeway

But, who knows!
Dr. Skeeter  [author] 16 Mar, 2019 @ 11:49pm
Finally, someone saw what I wanted to make.. well, what if I say this moves around a lot on Earth-like planets, in rain, and lands near sea?
jump521 16 Mar, 2019 @ 4:23pm
O dont like the engine bell colour. I could understand the shape, but rust? In space? Unless in your world, engines are meade of raw iron sheets and use oxygen as ejection matter (big RCS thruster), i dont see it working.
CaptMoist 15 Mar, 2019 @ 4:07pm
Gotcha
Dr. Skeeter  [author] 15 Mar, 2019 @ 3:55pm
you teleport in, door`s broken
CaptMoist 15 Mar, 2019 @ 1:12pm
I have no clue how to get in the main part of the ship
Dr. Skeeter  [author] 19 Feb, 2019 @ 9:32am
no, they are just holograms.
pickleStomp 19 Feb, 2019 @ 8:01am
Hey man, Got any Ideas to change the "doors"? Looks like the update is gonna break them for all your builds. If not, do you have a good mod to switch them out with?
Slump_Lord 9 Feb, 2019 @ 12:35pm
wow, that sounds amazing! cant wait to see the build infamous. AI was a great title, the lighting was fantastic. they really knew how to give the correct ambiance. don't sweat the assholes. some idiots will try to crit a donut if they have nothing better to do. i was very displeased with the service at glory's donut hole, there were not enough sprinkles!
| n f a m o u s 9 Feb, 2019 @ 11:26am
I upload screenshots of it regularly. I'm always open to collaboration as well :)
Dr. Skeeter  [author] 9 Feb, 2019 @ 10:26am
I would like to actually check in on your build, I am a big fan of Ron Cobb as you can see, also got 110 hours in AI, which is just me looking around while the alien creeps on me for some reason :P
| n f a m o u s 8 Feb, 2019 @ 9:45pm
Hey, I'm a big fan of your workshop builds. I'm in the middle of a painstakingly detailed Sevastopol Station build, mod-less construction coupled with custom sounds extracted from the game files of A:I for the workshop, and one of my small block elevator templates uses a few of elements from your builds. You can see the elevator on my public screenshots page, I just wanted to check if it was fine for me to emulate the style you use in these fantastic Ron Cobb small block builds (Especially the door! :)) Thanks!
Slump_Lord 2 Feb, 2019 @ 9:18pm
@Kingjolo1 if they think it looks like a penis they got one really messed up penis. i love the old school style of these ships. seems like something a 1970's space pirate would be flying.
thomathian 2 Feb, 2019 @ 12:38pm
love all of your ships. keep up the amazing work
CODE7 1 Feb, 2019 @ 11:40pm
I think all of your ships are stunning and well made. I, however personally believe that criticism is the best way to grow. Of course that's provided the critic actually knows what they're talking about. With that though, respecting the creators wishes is a small thankyou for enjoying the time and effort they put in.
Dr. Skeeter  [author] 1 Feb, 2019 @ 8:51pm
Thank you!
Extevious 1 Feb, 2019 @ 1:25pm
We only live once, and if someone doesn't want criticism for something they literally gave to community, of their own time and energy, in an appropriate location; he most likely doesn't deserves it. It's like planting a flower in the community garden: Bob doesn't like the color, Joe dislikes the location, and Marry hates the type. All valid opinions, but this is unneeded criticism for something that is beneficial, not in the way, and not derogatory.

Why hate on something just because no one says that you can't, but the creator?
Extevious 1 Feb, 2019 @ 1:25pm
"all of these mods are free. all of these mods get critiqued. you don't have to LIKE the criticism, but don't block and threaten people on your own thread just because you "put a lot of time into it.""

Everyone has the ability to voice their opinion, and remark on such an opinion. Should we make threats to deter someones critique? Not necessarily, but it comes with a merit of being blocked for defamatory towards Skeeters creation. How often are you able to refund the time spent on a project of any kind? N e v e r. Criticism of any kind breaks the ice for faults, or qualities; once someone has broken the ice, others will float their boat in the freshly exposed water.
Extevious 1 Feb, 2019 @ 1:24pm
"it's kinda foolish to create something and submit it to the public, and then explicitly state "I give it for free.. I don't want any critics.""

Is it, though? Considering Skeeter put in his time and energy into a both functional and free ship for all users of the SE community to enjoy that doesn't violate any form of workshop policies, or relate to some derogatory-historical context (Nazism for example) it doesn't need to be criticized. Skeeter's not voicing his opinion, you didn't pay any money, and he's giving something to the community that's constructive: a new ship for all to enjoy.
Extevious 1 Feb, 2019 @ 1:24pm
There's a huge difference between constructive criticism and destructive/negative criticism. Constructive criticism is having the intension of adding to the design; in this case, it's new or different ways of designing something. It could also be considered constructive criticism to make an observation about the creations' characteristics: how it has a similar representation to a male appendage. This is not the case with Dr.Skeeters build as it has no relatable characters to a literal penis. That would be defamatory towards Skeeter's creation; finding a reason to question, and spew negativity.
CTH2004 31 Jan, 2019 @ 11:02am
This is cool

@kingjolo1

Is that an insult? (I honestly don't know)

Also, I think a merge block could be nice, but I get why you didn't. Some of the people are critics just to get in the way, others are trying to help. I, am at least trying to help. I put an idea, and if the person likes it, they use it. If not, they don't. I have hundreds of thousands of ideas (Most of them about wormholes, artificial gravity, quantum foam, quantum money...), so I just give people them.

So, I just want to say, that good job, and keep up the good work.

Oh yeah, and thank you.
Dutch Person 31 Jan, 2019 @ 8:45am
I personally love it, people need to stop bitching about it looking like a penis when they clearly don't have a large enough one to enjoy this :)
Dr. Skeeter  [author] 31 Jan, 2019 @ 7:21am
I don`t think that "it looks like a penis" counts as a critique. And of course, most of the commenters who don`t like my build are not intelligent enough to make a normal-ish statement about what they dont like about my builds. This is due to, most of those guys just make cubes with weapons. This is the reality, I am the only one here who does this. Vanilla, Small grid, great detail.
adnauseam 31 Jan, 2019 @ 6:46am

I'm gonna have to take sides and join Doctor Budgie and Dr.Dark Sith Skeeter. Forgot the appearance of the thruster.Hydrogen or ion,it doesn't matter. As long as it moves the ship forward who gives a fuck.Quit bitchn everyone.I'm gonna test this ride in my creative world/game regardless.
J4R 30 Jan, 2019 @ 2:07am
Extevious shhh, everything's allright, look, there's a big update for Space Engineers, what could that be? Let's find out together and not think of the thruster again!!
Extevious 29 Jan, 2019 @ 10:41pm
Deported fetus

don't hurt me
Dr. Skeeter  [author] 29 Jan, 2019 @ 10:33pm
Lets play a game, whoever mentions what the thruster looks like once again, gets blocked. I killed way too much time and effort for this.
Imglidinhere 29 Jan, 2019 @ 9:56pm
Not sure what I figured would happen in all honesty... o_o;

Prolapsed anus...

uh huh.... It kinda... does.... o.o

Just the engine... Thanks for the distrubing mental image... :|
J4R 29 Jan, 2019 @ 1:44pm
I think the comment section was meant to be sarcastic and not openly hostile tho :P
Dr. Skeeter  [author] 29 Jan, 2019 @ 1:34pm
Luckily I have good methods to disallow commenting of ... certain type of people..
tikks 29 Jan, 2019 @ 12:46pm
I dunno I just jumped in 'cause you seemed pretty hostile & wanted to take up your time
Dr. Skeeter  [author] 29 Jan, 2019 @ 12:31pm
Idk, I couldnt dare to look at those images long enough to decide, but I highly doubt there would be any mutual ponts. Besides, why would you descend to such a low level where your only bad words can be these? It`s like telling Einstein his ears are big because you don`t like the cover of his book
J4R 29 Jan, 2019 @ 11:44am
Who the fuck compares a spaceship to an anus? Like, what the actual fuck?

Nice ship Skeeter, really nice. Plus, wingy bits!! :3
