Well, that's not notrmal behavior from the game itself. Try to remove the mod, not only disable it.

I'm so glad people are still making mods for Tangledeep. (Albeit very slowly)
This mod looks like a nice change of pace from the normal experience, so I'll be sure to give it a shot when I have the time.
