Actually you are not wrong, there is an issue about the angle of the plane when it's moving, making it look like sliding instead of flying. However i am out of this project for over a couple of years, im not able to fix this angle problem now

I don't know if this problem is from my PC, but sometimes it flies like its diving down, in the moments where it flies near of the players. Its like aim down the nose
