Just confirmed this mod prevents the other ai empires from doing literally anything beside surveying systems. No expanding, no competition, no fun. Game breaking mod

Confirmed to crash-to-desktop (CTD) in latest version of Stellaris (3.10.2).
Doesn't even let you boot to the main menu. Troubleshot as much as I could but could not get this mod to work.

That's unfortunate it was a great mod. Though I suggest someone state in the description/title that it has been abandoned or discontinued so that you guys don't get continuously asked if there will be any updates.

From what I can tell in the comments the main issues are that the AI doesn't want to build (Stations or space ships), the only way to fix that is to delete the text '00_alloys_budget.txt'. Also that there is a problem with ship armour. There isn't value for any of the armour so it is basically useless. Larabee also said that they will not be updating the mod anymore so there is no point having this mod installed. Shame, for me it was the best Star Wars ship mod on the workshop.

Yeah, I am noticing a lot of little things cropping up. None of the armor units have any value. They are all zero. SO when you auto setup your ship it only uses shields. Also, for some reason I have the Black Hole Reactor from the beginning (best power source?) No idea how I got that.

Also, ship designs are a bit wonky. A destroyer can fit like 5 medium guns, 2 large guns, and 2 point defense guns and a regular platform can fit 8 medium guns and some PD and another one has 4 large slots and more PD.

The values are totally inappropriate. Very sad this mod isn't working correctly. Will have to delete.

I think there may be a problem with armor.
when I use this mod, I noticed the modifier of all the different armor stats and there as nothing increasing the armor points on the ship designs.

I notice that Augustus Caesar mentioned a fix to get the ships to spawn. where you delete 00_alloys_budget.txt. May I ask which location is this file located in the Stellaris folder?

Maybe it needs to be updated. ai will not use engineering ships for expansion now, even if they do not need special resources. When I close the mod at the bottom of the sequence, everything is fine. I think it needs to be updated. thank you.

The AI don't seem to be able to and/or know how to build combat ships or expand their empires at all with this mod. When I used the console to switch to the AI empires, I saw that they did not seem to be gathering any Tibanna gas or Kyber crystals. Is there any way to fix this besides manually going in and periodically building up the AI fleets myself?

was it your intention that the armor values are all on 0? So there is not even a single armor value all over all ships and stations. Even the Tech Tooltip shows no value of armor.

Tracked down the AI not expanding issue to the "00_alloys_budget.txt" file, deleting that will allow the AI to start expanding again

Dont know if im the only one, but playing this mod with Lmsww & its dependencies as well as all DLCs the AI does not expand, tried giving them extra modifiers through game difficulty but they just sit around and dont build other starbases to expan their Empires. Tested it in Vanilla as well as only with the mod, and it is clear that this mod is somehow causing this weird AI behaviour.
Might this be a bug?

On Monday I start university for games development, I also hear there are upcoming changes to combat in Stellaris, which I expect will be a breaking change for this mod.

As such, I will be discontinuing support for the mod, there are now alternative up to date star wars ship mods that aren't as intense as Star Wars Fallen Republic.

There are likely to be sporadic updates to this mod and Larabee's modified star wars weapons just whenever me and my friends fancy playing.

As a reminder I cannot authorise total re-uploads of this mod for newer versions of the game. I do not have permission from the model artists for that, and unless you got permission, neither do you. However, feel free to use any of the scripting files in this mod as I wrote all of those - I doubt they will have much use though.

Once again to be very clear, you cannot redistribute .mesh files or any texture files without the express permission of the model artists.

Hello sir,thx for your work at first,could u please make the Death Star rellay able to use like another mod “deathstarbattle station”to make the Death Star become a ship class,that’s mod is also funny,but i think the best molde of Death Star in Stellaris is in this mod,so if u get any free time u might can do this :)

Hey Larabee maybe to try save your headaches you should make the line up top saying that this does not effect the preview screen a little bigger and BOLD that might make it so people actully read the thing. Thanks again for updating the mod. :)

@Larabee. I took a look at the ships in game, research all tech to take a look straight away and you were right, I apologise for my previous comment, and would highly recommend Putting something in bold and underlined.

Oh my god, the preview screen is going to give me the death of me. This mod replaces all the vanilla ship classes apart from corvette and all the civilian ships, the preview only shows the vanilla classes which I haven't set a model to because you are never supposed to see them.

This mod doesn't work anymore does it? I've run it with the ONLY mods its said to be compatible with, those mods being:
1. UI Overhaul Dynamic*
4. Larabee's modified Star Wars Weapons
5. !!!Universal Resource Patch
6. Star Wars Ships 3.0.X**

In the correct order. And it still bugs out. The Corvette is fine, as well as the every other ship and station. Pretty much all the military ships save for the corvette go back to the Mammalian shipset. I don't know whats going on, but please help.

stellaris defines a "graphical culture" for each race type (planetoid, mammalain etc). This defines the city and shipset. Basically what happened here is I was lazy and didn't change the city background when making graphical cultures for each shipset from mammalain.

So its not intended and its not a bug its lazy, who cares about it anyway I don't even notice it XD

Hey man, first of all I love your mod and the work that you had put into it, so really thank you for doing this, but I have a question,
All the cities frames of all the races are all the mammalian ones, is this intended or is only an unlucky bug?

It's fine my windows install is probably partially to blame, its uber broken - pressing shut down does not shut it down it just turns off the screens and stays on, if you touch the mouse screens come back on at the login screen so thanks microsoft

Had the same prob a few months ago.

I soved it doing the following:


1. Before you start make a backup of your local development folder and it's .mod file.
2. Delete the folder and the .mod in /mod.
3. Start the PDX launcher.
4. Create a new mod folder using exactly the same name of the folder you deleted from
/mod.
5. Close the PDX launcher after that.
6. Copy the content from the backup folder in the new directory you created using the PDX
launcher.
7. Copy the .mod from your backup folder to /mod
8. Restart the PDX launcher. You should see the mod and be able to upload again.
