I don't know why all my hardware decided the last months or so that now is the time to fail, but thats been life recently. Feel like I'm running on fumes in general, and tech issues aren't helping. Work on WotP has been crawling on. Going to try and knuckle down and get Cracking the Crypt out once I'm on a computer that can run the game again.

As it feels like I'm only ever posting about delays, I will say: I'm not going to delay forever. If there comes a point where I determine that finishing WotP isn't going to happen, I'll announce such. Leaving you in the dark would be bs. Plus I'd add a note about it in each maps' listing. I would also release my campaign synopsis.

This month I was mostly burnt out for reasons unrelated to WotP, and December became void of the energy I'd use to do anything productive in regards to WotP. One of those distractions is out of the way, which will hopefully allow me to dedicate more time to WotP.

History dictates that I'm awful at deadlines, so I'll merely say that I still intend to finish WotP. Priorities, and time, have merely been elsewhere lately.

Between a hard drive failure, NaNoWriMo, and the first half of the editor update dropping my free time got eaten away. CTC will likely be pushed back to next month. I know I don't exactly have a good track record with hitting deadlines at this point. But its not as if I want to put 'coming when its ready' at the end of the maps. Maybe that would be better going forward though.

2/5 maps of the second chapter have been release now, and work is continuing (after a delay due to harddrive failure).

I'd hate to bring up another delay, but I don't think the next map will be concluded by the end of October. Just been one of those months where things keep getting in the way.

I have just published the first map of the next chapter, expect the rest of chapter 2 to be rolling out in the coming months.

Word on the street is the steam error preventing posting comments on the workshop has been resolved, so....

Wish I could say I'm coming back swinging from hiatus, having dropped the first map of the next chapter on the last day of July, but it did not materialize in time.

I am, however, officially resuming work on Wings of the Phoenix. Expect chapter 2 to start rolling out in August.

Wings of the Phoenix is currently on hiatus, waiting for some updates to the editor. Most pressingly, a few of the upcoming maps relay on several entities that have been crashing the game for months now to work - so I'll need those bugs fixed to move forward past them.

I've been enjoying watching ImKibitz play your maps and they are all top notch! Interesting story, great gameplay mechanics and quality map design. Looking forward to seeing Chapter 2 :)

If you got rushed in C1M1, it was for hitting around day 42 If I recall correctly. It's not tied to construction, the timing just lined up for you. The map was explicitly made without construction in mind, its why the CC is surrounded by ore nodes you can't build on. I know one of the mayors extends the energy transfer radius and allows one to bypass this, but I can't control which mayors get assigned. If you found another way to place a Tesla Tower, do let me know.

That said, listing the Day Length on the map's page wouldn't be out of the question.

I managed to start building on C1M1 after clearing 70% of the map which triggered the rest of the map to rush my base and kill me. Interesting way to punish, but I wasted a huge amount of time taking my time playing the map only to lose to something I didn't know would happen.

I seriously can NOT express how amazing this all is. Honestly, the way you made this makes it feel like a whole new game. I would of gladly paid another 15$ for something like this if it was its own game. Amazing work! Keep it up!
