man i think this is great but i am playing on a world with all mobs drop random items. the downside is that i have gotten like 24 suit becons and i am macerating them all

Last I remember from the game code is nothing really affects slime spawn. If you've built things and are nearby they come non-stop forever.

question, does removing organic surface detrius (the first layer of stuff on the surface] prevent slimes from spawning

@[CRSDR]Influx Nothing, unless you shoot them or they take falling damage, at which point, they'll shoot acid at you until you or your turrets kill them (unless you're running with Trivial Mobs set, then their acid does no damage).

They're not like the Camo Bots, which will steal power, the Mynocks, which will eat materials from your belts to feed hive-minds, nor the attackers coming from the Overminds that'll attack and try to destroy your CPH. They are useful if you need a consistent source of bug parts, though.

They're more annoying than anything else.

Would be nice to have a turret against Camobots sitting around all over the place.
