I assume the fact that a shitload of people have asked about the font size.. and he hasn't really acknowledged it.. means he doesnt know how.. or you can't.

Would be better if it just worked on the chat font. Instead it also changes the size of the fonts throughout the UI in other areas, making them too big and overlapping other text areas. Pretty sloppy. :sadelf:

@TrevorJD it's technically possible, but you'd have to remake the mod yourself. Unfortunately the version of UE4 Grapheshot used is older and uses pre-rendered textures for fonts instead of generating the textures real-time.

Hi, I'm loving this "mod", thank you so much for putting it together. Is it possible to substitute in other fonts? The latin characters in the typeface you've used is a little too wide so some text (such as player level) gets truncated.

Font is fine except the letters take up too much space vertcally (too wide) so that it bugs the UI. A more "compact" font would work better. Also the font should be a lttle smaller in general.

Can you shrink the font a bit? Some stuff goes off the readable area (like player level) with this size of font.

The font size is an issue with the UI but it's really nice to see what all those [] are about. Some are just "normal screen name ascii". :)

To be honest, the main language in game is currently english only and talking with each other via voice is possible. Most of all users are pleased with just having normal a normal font instead of the game. There are special uasset files for ru if they need it until you or someone else delivers one supporting everything.

@Firedragon The ko gylphs do not support languages such as Russian.
The filesize may be reduced later today when I re-write the installation script (but this will break parity with the guide.)
As for in-game size, that is simply because this is a direct copy of my Ark global font, where the UI text was larger.
Eventually, the appearance will be brought more in-line with Atlas, however that is a job that will require a minimum of 30 hours of texture rendering so it will have to be done when I don't have college work due.

@Substitute your files and the font itself is way to large, it breaks most of the games ui not showing text properly. Using my method gives you most glyphs except special ones and is in a descent size without going out of ui. Having a 1GB DL for it is not needed if you can just copy some files you are already owning to another directory. IF you want to have more than 3 stars (because most don't like it huge), fix letter spacing and reduce filesize.

@Firedragon Doing that you'll only be able to see characters used in the ko translation + Latin characters. The font is so large due to supporting over 50k unique glyphs.

There is no need to Download this huge Files that makes it just large like not adding any uasset and ttf. If you want proper files, they come with the game - just go to Steam\steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Content\Localization\Game\ko and copy everything except ShooterGame.archive and ShooterGame.locres to local folder. If you want your own ttf for chat&other text except menu, take any font you like (ex. calibri.ttf from windows/font) and copy it as DefaultFont.ttf / DroidSansFallback.ttf / DroidSansMono.ttf / LastResort.ttf / NanumGothic.ttf / Roboto-Bold.ttf / Roboto-Light.ttf / Roboto-Regular.ttf. With this you have a way better font setting like using this bogus (way too huge) font.

It would be fantastic if it was smaller... A lot of screens fall out of bounds. If anyone knows how to fix that, it would be greatly appreciated :) Lowering the UI Scale doesn't help.

@Commissar Danny That's simply because of how fonts work with this version of UE4. They are simply textures with XY UV values for where each symbol is in each texture.
