@bfgmetalhead yeah the stone workshop and stone walls is vital for the X maps! Hope you give it another shot sometime and get it next time. Thanks for the kind feedback - it's comments like that which keep me going! Phase 4 is now out :)

Looking forward to today's map launch, your maps are probably going to be the best thing till the dev's release the offical stuff. Keep up the good work!

@bfgmetalhead thanks for the feedback. I expand to the grassland to the west to expand my economy up as quick as possible whilst building soldiers. I used 24 to clear the map just before day 28. I then use two rows of double thickness stone walls at each choke point allowing a little bit of room to fall back just in case. Then I use 5-6 Ballista's for each passage - for the east passage (the way you came up with the Heroes) you can only fit about 2 Ballista's but you can put Ballista on the south side of the river to shoot both sides of the river. Finally I had a Shocking Tower on the right side to take out both eastern passages. Hope this helps and you have fun trying it out - I can upload a screenshot if you're still stuck :)

oof, just got my ass wuped by this. I'm in the "can beat 300-400% pretty much every time" bracket. I got to the end but I just didn't have enough stuff. Ant tips? I was relying on stake traps as they are v.cost effective but the final wave shat all over em.

@Zanil - thanks for the feedback! That's great to know as it's hard to tell as the author just how hard they are. Yes the difficulty will still rise each map and yes there will be X-versions of each phase, except maybe Phases 1, 5 and 7 as they are/will be mainly story based hero maps. I'll go back and do Phase 2X and then Phase 4X soon after vanilla Phase 4 is out - thanks to feedback like yours I'll know how hard to pitch them :)

Will you continue to make X-versions of each phase? If yes, will they also increase in difficulty each phase? This one was still a bit too easy for me, so I hope so :)
