not working these days, I tried many mods for increasing number of turns per year, but non of them works. There has to be some update what changed something you guys used in startpos file

mods back then, when i created this, were done a little differently. same programs, but we had to manually override game files using movie files. only a few people probably even remember the old movie file mods we used. back then we didnt use steam to upload mods. this mod modifies the game start file, the start.esf file i believe. which was the only way we knew how to make these kinds of changes back then. old school Total War Center. thats where mods began. the mod does what it does. there's no adding new clans.

As one example, long/domination campaign in FOTS has an end date of 1876 - with this mod it is for some reason 1876 for short campaign and 1964 for long/domination.
I really appreciate the rest of this mod but extending the victory conditions by so much feels so unnecessary.

If it does extend it a lot (wouldn't know how much) then maybe select a lower victory condition.

Considering 12 turns per year already extends the gameplay time substantially for ROTS and S2, is it possible to have a version that doesn't extend the victory conditions?

It works, but the Otomo Clan description in my game is simply "Placeholder". They can still be played though.

@Dead213End Doesnt seem like it, I've tried having it being the only mod selected while having the Otomo DLC on, and the Otomo doesn't show up on the clan selection screen.

@AbatedFawn : What makes this mod different is that you can't include extra years with extra turns in two separate mods. They're both part of the same file. So if you try to include 2 different mods with these changes, only one will work. Mods take place alphabetically, with the last one being read overwriting the any previous mods with the same files.

I had to make a small update from v1.5. One of the factions had the wrong date. I've also changed the years a little. I made all campaigns have an equal amount of turns. I thinks 2,400 turns should be plenty to finish a game.
