I really like that this mod works on NPCs too.
Xeonzs 11 Mar @ 11:48pm
Still works in 2025, however I decided to turn it off at day 8, because the shek guards in squin were getting their stats into the 70s and even 80s by murdering dust bandits and starving bandits, thus making my war on them much harder.
ZoraergazU 26 Oct, 2023 @ 10:52pm
oh, genesis already have it in.

Will this mod cancel the punishment for low-level enemies? What I mean is that enemies with a level 1 lower than yours in the original version will obviously receive more experience than enemies with a level 24 lower. Will this mod give as much experience to Hungry Bandits and Sand Bandits within a level 50 lower than yours?
SinkingLotus 18 Mar, 2023 @ 10:09am
@Gaffu There's no need to import. Since this is a patch I would put it at the bottom of the load order.
SinkingLotus 18 Mar, 2023 @ 10:08am
@Yikes There is actually an automatic Mod load order program. It's called "Kenshi Mod Manager". It does the job and I hadn't had any issues with it, though I've only once or twice. Not sure if it's better than using the guide.
Yikes 2 Feb, 2023 @ 12:00am
Gaffu, Mod load order is extremely advanced it seems. And i havent found a tool for doing it for but there is a comprehensive guide to it. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1850250979

@Crack Ho from Skid Row Nice shitpost, legendary episode
Crack Ho from Skid Row 15 Apr, 2022 @ 11:12am
K : Dude, boars are only worth two experience points apiece. Do you know how many we would have to kill to get up 30 levels?

C : Yes. [whips out a sheet full of calculations] Sixty-five million three hundred and forty thousand two hundred and eighty five. Which should take us seven weeks five days thirteen hours and twenty minutes, giving ourselves three hours a night to sleep. What do you say, guys? You can just...you can just hang outside in the sun all day tossin' a ball around, [firmly] or you can sit at your computer and do somethin' that matters.

* "Live to Win" by Paul Stanley begins to play.
Gaffu 5 Apr, 2022 @ 8:56am
Do I need to import? And where do I place this in the load order? I always have this question when using mods that only patches some little numbers or mechanics on the game.
david 28 Jan, 2022 @ 7:22am
dominic: Kenshi uses a skill gain system which compares the relative strength of the opponent to determine skill gain. Strong opponent = lots of XP. Weak opponent: Nearly no XP. This mod changes the balance so that fights against weak enemies give some more XP.
This AFAIK affects skills: Dodge Attack Defense, weapon type, dexterity from cutting damage, strength from blunt damage. There may be more, maybe check the wiki.
dominicslivers 26 Oct, 2021 @ 10:41am
what is meant by level by the way? does it mean strength level or multiple other or both?

大概意思就是打厉害的教练升级会更快..属性追上教练就假的慢了.打弱鸡没有经验.翻译完毕
Doma 22 Jan, 2021 @ 1:51pm
Looks good, i hope it won't make my game too easy tho...
Mako 18 Oct, 2020 @ 9:17am
Okay, thanks~
( * )  [author] 18 Oct, 2020 @ 8:36am
Mako : Hey, sorry I don't mod for this game anymore. Maybe you could try the forum, to see if an other modded could do it? Best of luck and have a great day. :)
Mako 18 Oct, 2020 @ 6:38am
Hey.
You can make a similar mod, but to make it work only for my characters?
I do not want other NPCs who are nearby to become stronger at an incredible speed :s
Cassette 13 Jun, 2020 @ 12:58pm
@joostar I thought about that too, but I imagine that if you're training out in the wilds far from cities than there shouldn't be guards or other more permanent characters constantly fighting bandits and getting ridiculously OP. You could always disable it after a training session as well.
Void Hermit 19 May, 2020 @ 7:43am
Won't this fuckup the game a little bit? As in making the bosses level up a lot as you fight them, or making town guards who are always fighting extremely OP over time?
foreskinavenger 11 Mar, 2020 @ 7:38am
i like this mod. its pretty dumb that teammates cant spar to train (which would make sense), someone cant teach you, and the only way is to grind for days and have an inquisitor beat the mcshit out of you while carrying a traders backpack full of iron ore
ReaperXGen 6 Mar, 2020 @ 1:13pm
It would be nice if you left a link to your "Weaklings Always Give XP" mod
P.S. great job!

Hypothetical Yahoo : to all characters.
Samminator 28 Dec, 2019 @ 8:09am
does this apply to all characters in game or just the characters in your party?
Corporal Shephard 23 Oct, 2019 @ 2:25pm
does this need an import or new game to apply?
LightMisfit 9 Oct, 2019 @ 8:40am
Yes boy, I can finally train up big boys to fight the UC Samurais without having them kill themselves fighting very prepared and experience veterans.

Also keeps me from editing my stats in the game editor to give myself that extra edge :P
Intyalle 20 Sep, 2019 @ 12:06am
@HT-0311
If you activate sneak mode while your person is downed, when they wake up they will play dead.
Chungo Beepis 9 Aug, 2019 @ 1:13am
The idea of gaming is an alternative to life, why would we want to bring the horrific existential limitations of reality into this here game :P
Ravayen 5 Aug, 2019 @ 10:59am
welcome to reality dude life's like that too :P
Malikyte 5 Aug, 2019 @ 10:39am
@Ravayen - That's a pathetic bitch-out and you know it. A more appropriate "spirit" phrase would be "You are not special, but some of these other assholes roaming the wasteland are so enjoy randomly getting your shit punched in for no apparent reason."
CaptainSnafu 2 Jul, 2019 @ 7:40am
with this mod.every guards and bandits become strong as hell.because they need to do nothing but fighting in all days
Ravayen 20 Jun, 2019 @ 10:08pm
@HT-0311
I don't think you quite get the spirit of Kenshi (you are not special) perhaps you should have read the store page before buying the game based solely on the screen shots? Said store page stating clearly that those thing you mention can and will happen......a lot.
Timesplitter 8 May, 2019 @ 12:07am
Thank you for this amazing mod that I have included in "Kenshi: The World Divided". This Mod Collection has been fully tested and works perfectly. Thank you again for the great mod to add to this collection. :steamhappy: Timesplitter.

Riptyphoon : sorry, I don't have time to update this mod right now.
Even so, I wouldn't know how to modify the NPC's leveling.
Riptyphoon 20 Apr, 2019 @ 9:21pm
Has the NPC leveling been patched? I thought about adding this mod, but making tough NPCs even stronger is a big risk.
HT-0311 9 Apr, 2019 @ 3:27pm
I need this. I just watched my hole swaud of 6 guys get wiped by pretty much one holy high paladin, all are unconcious, except my last remaining Soldier drone, lying on the ground trying to fight.

1 leg gone, the other gone, still alive, still fighting. I ragequit. I hate it so much that I always seem to have that one shitty guy that is determined to make my playthrough just worse and worse and worse. Just loose all limbs you shitty game, you could also try to play dead, but nooooo. I wish for a damn Playing Dead Button so I don't have to HOPE that they begin to play dead.

And I cannot train my own teammates by fight one another, nooo, that would make the game to easy, better build a City first that is under attack all the time and take some prisoners to train you Idiots.

Or what about a teracher you have to pay and he or she trains your weak minions?

This game is so far from finished I could scream my soul out. Mods. I need more mods.
spike_mf 23 Jan, 2019 @ 10:47pm
duh, how could I've missed that :P Thanx

spike_mf 23 Jan, 2019 @ 12:32pm
where did you find those stats?!? Using the Forgotten Constructionkit and can't find Global Constants anywhere :P
Asmosis 12 Jan, 2019 @ 11:31am
Learn something new every day. I had no idea the game had levels, or exp penalty for that matter. I just figured it was like Skyrim etc.
GrayFarron 12 Jan, 2019 @ 6:21am
@Nesano Yeah it is a little weird but when you think of it makes sense, your abillity to defend makes it to where you flat out barely take damage, if you have a high stat of that, you are almost invincible against lower defence enemies, making that scaling effect you see in most RPG's
( * )  [author] 12 Jan, 2019 @ 5:28am
mahatmadandy : I don't think an import is required.
Can someone confirm? :)
mahatmadandy 12 Jan, 2019 @ 5:09am
Thanks for this sweet mod. Do I need an import or is it save friendly?
Nesano 12 Jan, 2019 @ 2:48am
Oddly specific.
GrayFarron 12 Jan, 2019 @ 2:23am
@Nesano There are levels, levels are flat out determined by your Melee Defense stat
Nesano 11 Jan, 2019 @ 10:48pm
What do you mean "levels?" There's no such thing as an overall level, so does it compare your strength to their strength, dexterity to dexterity, etc. and only level the skills that are within range?
hellosharkness 11 Jan, 2019 @ 9:55pm
Really digging a lot of your mods. Just subbed to like 5 of them. Thanks for your work and time.
Nemek 11 Jan, 2019 @ 6:16pm
Thanks for the quick answer, I will test it my self and I will let you know
