@meme skeleton, The model used to hold the addon weapon is an alien from Fallout 3.

Just a quick question. What is the addon called in the addons folder? I somehow can't find it.

I havent touched lua in a while but its pretty simple to slow down the fire rate if you want to open up the code, if you want me to personally do it for you if you need it for anything like a server etc. I can do that for you.

I think a laser pistol with sort of low attack speed would be cool.

so i tested it and it all seemed to work besides from the shooting animation from the NPC and this script error:

[Laser SMG] lua/weapons/mark_laser.lua:76: attempt to call method 'ViewPunch' (a nil value)
1. PrimaryAttack - lua/weapons/mark_laser.lua:76
2. unknown - gamemodes/base/entities/weapons/weapon_base/init.lua:95
