Same tbh, the one I used replaced all science books with ancient science books and now I can't hardly find 5 books to even get a small house . . . thanks for this though

It basically affects any vendors that use a certain "shop pack" in their inventory which decides what kinda items they can sell. So it probably affects vendors in every faction equally.

Does this affect vendors in the holy nation? I remember a conversation with an NPC to not talk about them because they are illegal.

Yeah, I was confused by the lack of engineering books and surplus of AI cores. Perhaps this is the right balance! Love the screenshot btw, it is the perfect summary.
