@bagelhe as a workaround you can add "RH_PlayerColony_MSF" to the list below "<permanentEnemyToEveryoneExcept>" in the Faction_Empire.xml. located in your Rimworld folder and there Data/Royalty/Defs/FactionDefs

@Muggi-86 - Not an option from this mod, adding a setting that removes them would need epic C# coding, which I don't know how to do. You can always manually edit the files of this mod in Notepad++ but that'd be out of your own time and discretion

@AlphaAshIsAWeenie - Don't know what you're talking about. All the weapons in this mod are using vanilla's weapon base, nothing fancy is added other than custom sounds and modified stats. There's no C# involved that would cause that. You may be dealing with a toxic fallout or something similar, dying pawns instantly rot and it can kill crops

As for the talk with food, a lot of suggestions are put away for me cause obviously it costs me a lot of time, I'd have to prioritise other things first like finished other mods of mine and etc, then I can think about these final touches with food

@Holgast - Not at the moment my friend. If vehicles were a thing I'd prioritise cars, IFV and tanks first, then we can talk about a full blown metal gear. Hrrm metal geuuur urrrh psycho mantis

Along with what muggi said, or instead of removing food work on compatibility with other cooking mods at some point, nothing is broken but little things like workbench integration. Hence why I say at some point as its just QOL stuff to make it play nicer with others.

@waltherP38ita - Most of the weapons in these factions, including gear isn't craftable even with Rimmu-Nation turned on. It made it easier for me to code, less complaints about a cluttered crafting bill (yet I still have cluttered bills due to the amount of craftable stuff I made for mods).

The easiest way to get the gear is by going around MSF faction bases and purchasing them

Hi, I have a question regarding the faction's weapon: where can I craft these weapons? I have the crafting bench but in there the are no bills to make these weapons. I've checked every other bench that I had (including the Rimmuntion mod benches). I already have researched the recepies for make those weapons, but I can't find where. Maybe I'm blind but can someone help please?

@Chicken Plucker - CE:FT has now been officially merged with CE, and the patches for this mod have been migrated over to CE.

Any CE compatibility issues (for any Chicken Plucker mods) should be reported to the CE issue tracker.

1.1 version is live. MSF mercenaries are now highly skilled in combat and survival related skill stats. There were some content related faction events that have been temporarily cut for now but everything else is here.

@keylocke - Sorry but as much as this is a highly requested separate mod I am out of time for now to make this happen, I only have 2 weeks before I start basic training and modding is off the table for a while to me.

@silvermistsshadow - Rimmu-Nation Weapons have some of the weapons from here craftable. I don’t want duplicate crafting recipes and the extra work of making each weapon craftable using the recipe method (where I have to code each recipe individually) just so I can make them craftable again for vanilla benches. I understand some people don’t want to use that mod, but this is why I left the option of being able to purchase the weapons from MSF since it saves me a ton of time. I appreciate some people think it’ll be easy to code, which it is, the issue is patching all these little fixes across all my mods will take me an eternity and I won’t have enough time to breathe apart from modding.

So uh, are the guns/equipment craftable in this mod, or do I need to make a trip back to Mother Base and buy more guns? I mean, I could make my own of other guns, but I already set up some loadouts using the guns this mod adds and I kind of want to keep using those. The only MSF thing I know I can craft is the flak vest or whatever it was. Or at least right now. Maybe an update will add crafting stuff?

@FreeformWings - It's a bug with Metal Gear Solid. It hasn't been fixed yet cause the coder in charge of relations is on vacation. It happens when you reload a save, you get a message of MSF betraying you. I can only recommend sending gifts to them now to appease the relations, I have to wait for the coder to sort it out unfortunately

Hi, not sure if this is already noted but starting as MSF can lead to errors related to the MSF *faction* trying to determine relations with itself.

@Rei - It's a vanilla hard coded issue. I've had Pelador (C# coding champion) help me greatly reduce the rates but vanilla is just hard coded to force pawns to wear anything winter related during cold seasons to avoid pawn death. Why Tynan didn't make it only affect his vanilla apparel, I'll never know.
