ive found this race mod as one of the mods that kill anything on screen if used with an incompatible mod

yup everything works so far. I just choose the Frackin ship instead of vanilla and use the shadow race lookin ship. It has the sail and everything. This race still works fine. Also to spawn in certain items you have to look in the actual mod's files and then spawn item via console. like for example the wings is just /spawnitem wingAlrune (also keep in mind its CASE sensitive). but ye the race works fine. just dont spawn the whip... that crashed my game. big bad lol.

Also I'm testing the mod myself and I DO see sail. It seems to be working quite fine with Frackin Universe for me at the start at least. Will let y'all know how it goes further...

Sadly it seems like this mod has been abandoned long time ago.

The only fix I found, was just making a new character. That seemed to restore SAIL for me.

Similar issue to last poster. SAIL is there, but the ship never builds. For now this race seems to be incompatible with FU

I recently tried playing the game with this race, and when I got onto my ship for the first time, I can't find the SAIL. I am using this race with FU, so could that be the problem?

no sure if this is brought up but does this race have weaknesses and strength like immunitys

um i just started up a game with this race
there was no sail in the ship
in other words i couldn't even start the actual game
lol i have no idea why this would happen let alone
why the game let me play up until that point
i suspect it may have something to do with the fact i didnt download the character creation extender although i dont see how that would effect it at all
as it worked fine without it to begin with

this is one of the coolest looking mods i've used so far, still testing it. wish the mod author would update this so much

I just mainly want these stupid ears fixed...

Since the creator isnt updating can someone take it into their own hands to do a few small things with a second hand mod? like fix the ears. they poke out of head wear. and add the ballgown back maybe. Ik it isnt right to do such, but the creators kinda abandoned us with no hope of content.

If it has to require a character creation extender, why not use one of the most widely-used (Xbawks)?

I am good with programming but not that much so I can help with that- if I learn more about l u a. (especially starbound's version if it was specifically programmed)

I don't play Starbound as much anymore, but it's nice to see one of my favorite races is still being maintained whenever I do have a small craving to play again.

I have the same problem as JaKeR, although mine is probably because of my bloated load order

When i install the mods, enter the game but i can't see the race icon and all i see is a blank icon in the race menu, when i click it, my game crash, but if i click on the visible race icon, it work normal . Am i the only one have this problem?

for some reason, they miss race icon on creation window (like - entry exists and I can make character, but race icon field has no image)

@Crow Hey! So I figured out why the race icon is invisible. I took a look at the forum version of the mod and the letter A in Alrune is capitalized in the folder files, causing Starbound to do some funky things with the interface, so changing that to lowercase should fix it. Also, the reason the wings go invisible is because a frame is missing in the item's image file. And if you're looking to add settlements, there's a few good tutorials on Starbounder.org for Tiled! I really love this beautiful mod, and it can only really get better from here on out!

HEEEY UH sorry for the lack of replies and whatnot, I added some tweaks and fixes, I am still working on this mod and had been privately testing and playing new versions without realizing I could update the pre-existing mod without having to reupload it. This is my first BIG public mod, but letting you guys know I haven't given up! I thank you all for your support and feedback I'm also learning things as I go when it comes to tweaks and such!

Is there also a way to give them cute eyes like cutebound?
