There was a lot I really wanted to play around with but keeping the mod simple was the best choice long-term IMO. It's still my intention to patch any game breaking bugs if and when they happen.

Pity though, I really enjoy the fact you managed to balance some stuff in the game, regarding Dark Latex. You added a lot of things to the race and made it pleasant to play.

Could Shizubelle be made omnivorous? I know the logic is that dogs are carnivores, but given that they are based on animal crossing villagers -who's diet consists of like 70% fruit, 25% fish, and 5% other- i feel like it would fit them a bit better.
I think it'd also help with the more cozy villager vibe to let them munch on less meaty snacks without getting sick~

Could you potentially add the "Gems seen as in Steven universe" Race?

I have made a discovery! There is a free autopsy table at the science outpost, and some medical space stations carry items that can be autopsied. This way, there is a guaranteed way of getting madness in order to progress. I believe this would make for a fun challenge instead of just sitting on an atropus planet and AFKing.

As long as there is a way to get to the autopsy table, you can get brains and turn them into madness. That's what my friend did as the arachne race to get madness to get the tech

It is possible but that locks them out of the Madness tree of research which is why I personally don't like doing that. It's definitely doable.

No idea if you take suggestions on this mod or not, but I've had an idea floating around in my head. Would it be possible for hisuian zoroarks to be immune to insanity? I've done a little digging and found that out of all the race mods that me and my friends have installed only ONE is immune to insanity, and that's the Arachne race. I feel like this would also fit with hisuian zoroarks since they're already... uhh... "passed away". (That and I also kinda wanna live on an atropus planet without dealing with the voices.) And according to a friend, when they played the arachne race, they were able to hit a button to go insane and thus progress down the madness research trees.

somewhere somehow there is a creature in this universe that drinks lava and survives.

In the comments of the mod you linked, they indicated that the cause of the problem is that your race description text uses tab characters instead of spaces for indentation. It would be cleaner if it were fixed right in your mod (by replacing each tab with 4 spaces). Also that patch mod doesn't address all the races ... Smolbolds still has the issue. If it's still unclear what the issue is, could you tell me what text editor you use?

Known issue. I have no idea what causes it nor how to fix it. However, another user has released a patch that fixes some of the races included:

The .species.patch files have bugged formatting. In the race descriptions for diet, bonuses, etc, all the lines of text have a [] prefix in-game, or a [HT] prefix using openstarbound, instead of indentation.

All good. I mostly do this for the fun of it anyway.

Sorry about not doing smallkobolds myself, I just have other projects on my radar, and I don't really like the frackinuniverse author so I just never bothered, but I'm happy to see someone else doing this, if you want help coming up with actual stats, I got some in mind, otherwise right on.

So long as those mods are loaded after this one, they will overwrite this one. Otherwise, this mod will only overwrite the races included in it if other custom stats mods are loaded before it.

will this clash with any of the single frackins mods if i already have singular ones for some of the ones that's grouped in here? i ask because for the first few i already have frackin patches but i would want to get it for the dark latex, lopunny and such

Glass cannons with moderate low-level adaptability.

At the time of last update, Protogens from this mod were to receive Level 1 Heat/Cold immunity, 50% Less HP, 50% More Energy, and increased damage and energy while using Bows and Rifles.
They took 50% less ice damage but 50% more electric damage.

It seems Protogens get a temporary (but long) buff of Insanity Immunity, Def+6, Safe Fall and Magnetism when they beam down?

Inorganic iron is needed for hemoglobin synthesis in biological beings. I picked robot for 2 reasons: The cybernetic nature of the race, and the lack of overall robotic-diet restrictions of most custom races. Those who disagree with this stance can easily mod their preferred diet by editting 1 line in the raceeffect file.

Ahhh. Frackin' breaks a lot of stuff I'm starting to see. Though as said, aren't their insides organic (in lore), unlick the Glitch?

That said, I'll try and push a patch out within the next week or so.

Frackin team updated the diet syntax AGAIN and this mod has not been updated so diets are defaulting to omnivore. It'll have to be patched in. It was intended for Protogens to have a robotic diet.

Why are Protogen able to eat anything? I know they have synthetic parts but their insides are organic. They shouldn't be able to eat robot food and probably not raw meat either.

Hey when you are active with this mod again i would like to suggest a handfull of races that need some love i hope you are active with this pretty soon

Due to my work load at this time, I can not update the mod as frequently as before. I intend to go back and add on to it later, but I am unable to give a timeline for when that will be.

It appears as if the mod is on hiatus... I hope the mod creator can come back to this, soon, though.

Would you consider adding Lycanroc race mod and the gnoll race mod to this list?
