@DanielDerStolle when you open a map editor, between buildings you can find it. it looks like front part of some hightspeed orange train.

I dont understand you. This for what you ask is the Lite-Version.
In the Lite-Version there are Town and Industry Generation and you can additional Place Industries and Town Buildings by your self.

This is intentional here on the Original Mod because its for Hardcore Players/Realistic Builders ;)
For this Problem i made the "Lite" Version.

Its not a bug. Its intentional.
I have made a "Lite" Version of the Mod which dont prevent Industry and Town Building Generation on a new Map and on new Era.

Hi Daniel,

I think I had got some bugs after the latest update, when I used the mod and start the new game, the map is empty and no town was generated (neither factory nor town).

Please help :)

Ok Thank you for the Tip. Some Updates earlier the Integer Value "0" does not work. If it work again with "0" then i will test that and update the mod asap.

The crash can still occure in the world editor by doing a mouse over on certain buildings with the bulldozer tool selected: Normally the game would show the popup "This would disconnect the station" but crashes instead. I guess it's because you put in sell_town="1": In the world editor there are no tokens. If I change it to sell_town="0", it doesn't crash anymore...

Sorry but I have had bad experiences in the past with people changing a few variables here and there and then claim the whole code as their own... BTT: Was Mashinky updated? The game isn't crashing anymore, but I can't demolish industry buildings either

This mod is broken! Mashinky will crash if you're moving the mouse over a certain tile from industrial buildings while having the bulldozer-tool activated... It is triggered by the way @DanielDerStolle uses the "sell_town" variable. Furthermore the "building_types.xml"-file used for this mod is outdated and claiming a copyright for something that you aren't the original creator off is a kind of stupid...

btw @Steaaler: Adding towns is possible - Just add cost="{a numeric value}" in the same row as BuildingType id="00000000" to the "building_types.xml"-file

@DanielDerStolle: no-no, i`ll not upload something. Just hate 30-40 minutes generate normal map to play, without 50% cityes in 20x20 square in 256/256 map or something like that.

@Steaaler: There is no direct file for Town Generation. You can look into the Mod Files and Modify it if you want. But you does not have permissions to Upload my Modified Files!
I also tried several times to make it possible to Place also Town Buildigs but this dont work currently.

It`s hard to get normal map with random generator. To much towns and indystrial buildings in lowest density. Maybe you can tell where is game file with building generation settings on maps?

well,the expansion is normally work when the industry just place here
but broken after minutes

I decide to don't play IBM recently,
but keep focus on it ,
after more update then return.

It's an important part to me,
that make industry more realistic,both action and outlook.

one of the problem may discus before update:
some of the parts of industry building bouncing around randomly
it's hard to place like I want till I randomly got it after minute of mouse shaking

@DanielDerStolle: I uninstalled and reinstalled the mod and it appears to be working as proper. Maybe it was because it may have been a bad download on my end. I will try and replicate the circumstances of when the industry failed to properly work.
Circumstance of when it went wrong. Cannot get a savegame as the autosave was overwrote.
Built station after setting up passenger network else where.
Placed forest next to station. Not enough funds. Cost was over 6000 coins. Cant remember exact figure.
Took out loans to afford.
Placed forest at normal amount of 1000 coin.
Price came down once I had enough funds?
Left the forest for a while to set up rest of industry chain. Came back after and placed upgrade.
At that point it went wrong as it displayed the original output of 1.
I will do further testing on my end to try and replicate.

@Suprememint: The Bonus still works by me. I tried it with the Forest.
Build Forest and then Buy the First Upgrade and the Output increases from 1 to 2 and with another second from 2 to 2.5

Just to let you know all is good with the mod except when you build an extension to an industry the bonus is no longer getting applied to the industry.

Loving the mod as it allows me to build much more likable layouts and plan my routes so they look so much better.

Hi. I like the direction that your mod has taken. I believe that you should differentiate between Industries and Resources. In the real-world Resources are randomly scattered across the world while Industries are planned and built by humans in response to the location of Resources and Cities. Therefore, I think that the game should randomize Forests, Mines, Oil wells, Sand pits, Cities, etc. The players should model actual investor behavior by building Sawmills, Tool works, Foundries, Refineries, Factories, Steel works, etc. to make the best use of the Resources.

Your mode is a must be during all my games. However i also hope you 'll find a way how to prevent all the industry to be generated automatically when starting a new era.
Maybe there is a "secret switch" somewhere in the game's source code?
Alternatively in the save games there should be coordinates for every in game generated industry. If you 'd find out how to read the saved game files it should be possible to delete such coordinates industry by industry?

I have tried several things to avoid Industry Generation on a new Era but i cant get it to work. Also a Industry Demolition to Demolish Generated Industrys is currently not possible. I will try every time a new Updat eis out to get it to work ;)

I like this mod, it allow to make my games systematic and more logical. However as new industry is generated in every next era, half of mod's purpose is lost. If its not possible to avoid industry generatiuon in era, can you at least consider some "detroy industry" option?

@anthony yes you can still do missions, e.g. forest for 1k wood mission is still generated when the event fires.
