Now that we spell intesity, you could also further differenciate the casters, by implementing more intensity buffs into their skills!

So, um. I consolidated the Fay, she is rank 15. Respecced because the AI had no idea how to level her, picked as many spell slots as I could and maxxed out Life and Fire. Only... in the UI I can only choose Lore of Death, every other lore is grayed out and unclickable. Any ideas?

I don't know why, but my game always crashes as soon as i open the spell selection ui. even with only this mod and the ui modding framework active. confirmed on multiple lords. any suggestions? I've tried using mixu's stuff like someone else here mentioned, same result.

Have the same issue as Metal Marty, also generic Slann don't get the spellbook at all so I'm stuck with w/e lore they come with. So much fun on Mazdamundi though.

Hey Smokin, is there any compatibility with the Transformation of Kadon Overhaul? It makes lore friendly beasts spawn for the spell instead of always a Manticore.

Feel free to implement however you like. But be warned, Mixed Lores was one of my first mods, the code is a mess and the whole script setup is lacking in various ways. If I'd be you, I'd use it to understand how you can enable/disable spells and maybe on how to use the ui modding framework, but I would not recommend to just edit the script. You won't have a pleasant time.
It would be better to just write a new script from scratch.

I want to ask whether it would be okay to implement this into my skill tree overhaul mod that I'm working on. I would have to edit the scripts probably and cut down on stuff since I'm really just interested in the essential stuff for letting lords with mixed lores choose their spells.

Great mod. Just one issue. When I recruit a new Slann and want to switch lores (4th option) it just goes back to the first dilemma and I get no new options. So it's stuck with the Fire, Light anf High magic lore options. Anyone else have this problem?

Okay, I'm glad I checked out this comment section. I've been having the same issues with the game freezing then crashing on either Ellyrion or Saphery's turn between turns 5-17.

I'm also using Mixu's mods.

The next turn is the Saphery turn, and since they always crash, it's probably Belannaer.

I have had this as well, exclusively on h'elf minor factions. When a friend and I were trying this with the script debugger mod, it reported that was mainly due to one of their lords trying (successfully, I assume from the roll) to assign an ancillary.

I can report the same crash as well. During a HE faction's turn. Sometimes, the crash was avoidable (ie reloading and pressing end turn again didn't crash again), but I got to a point where it was crashing no matter what (or at least, it dd ~20 times in a row, instead of going through after ~3 times). Tried killing off armies of different factions, didn't work. Removed this mod, got through the end turn. Maybe some skill available to HE that changed somehow?
Good thing at least the game still works after disabling the mod. And a gimped Malagor in a Taurox campaign doesn't really matter. A Taurox campaign is all about Taurox.

Hm, not sure what might causes this issue. Could be Mixed Lores itself or some weird interaction with another mod or something entirely unrelated, e.g. a base game script error that only crashes the game if mixed lores is enabled.
I'll give it a closer look. Don't expect a solution in the near future though.

I second that crash, happened on 2 campaigns one around turn 15 one around 30. Both during the ai turn when it got to ellryion or cothique. Crash stopped when this mod was removed.

I have no clue why, but I've identified this mod as crashing my game on AI turns, on both a thorek (turn 13, crash on saphery's turn) and Taurox (turn 19, crash on Eataine's turn) campaign. Standard procedure of removing mods 1by1 to find the issue ensued. In both cases, removing this mod stopped the crashes and the campaign was able to continue.Yes, I use KMM/UMF.

The button placement is fixed now. Your issue with Malagor having no spells is probably caused by the ui modding framework not yet being updated or another mod breaking scripts. Most likely the former.

@Deschain, I do believe the necrarchs experimented and sought out all kinds of arcane lore...mostly necromantic but I am sure they utilized different lores -as they do in-game. I could definitely see that being feasible.
