@Kaspian22 It's possible... but considering the current vanilla AI, the wood elves are already passive. So this particular mod became redundant in a way. Maybe later I can try to make both Orion and Durthu more aggressive

Mod updated. Unfortanetely, some of the former AI behaviors are not working anymore, so the only change now is related to generic passive behaviors of small factions (in this mod, the wef is not considered a major faction anymore). Hope this combination of passive + isolacionist can solve the issue.

i cant use this SFO and am tired of wood elves curb stomping everyone. An update would be great as this mod makes the campaign much more enjoyable

does this mod work with SFO, because when i use it with SFO the Wood Elves seem to be way more aggresive. The wood elves literally declared war on the Vampire Counts and marched all the way over there by turn 20

Is this save game compatible for Mortal Empires, by any chance? Every ME campaign I've played, the Wood Elves take over 20+ cities by the time I can reach their part of the map. I'm getting real sick of a supposedly Isolationist faction taking over the Empire, for example.
If it isn't save game compatible, no worries.

Haha yeah I don't really enjoy the challenge in this particular game for some reason.

@Sheriff Yep, can be used with SFO, this will override the WEF AI modifications made by Venris.

@manx2007 I altered the cultural relations table a little, to maximize the wood elves/beastmen rivalry (gave -140 for both). Searched around the AI profiles if there's something like anti-wef, but nope, there's only the "hate the beastmen" that every wef faction already possess. I can mess around with the AI, make the wef raze settlements instead of taking over, but that will take more time. As far as my tests goes, they remain passive (even Durthu) in that little "blob" even without the AI changes, but maybe others can have different outcomes. And Deco playing on normal? C'mon mate, let the AI cheat a little bit lol

i agree. not passive, but without wish to expand. if someone attack them , then to erase their settlements, not to expand themselves. to have nothing with bretonnia or humans and to hate Greenskins, Chaos and Beastmans. nice mod for them would be the one in witch the tree will have need for amber just to growth, not for upkeep. anyway, make them all passive. just my opinion.

Hmm, the Wood Elves are pretty passive in WH2 for me. Nothing like the WH1 madness.

Then again, I am playing on Normal difficulty, so this may be useful for people playing in harder levels.

This seems like a good mod. Never seems right when the Wood Elfs expand too far outside Athel Loren (especially when you're not playing them). Though I personally think it should be the other way around, with Durthu being defensive (because he doesn't give one care for anything outside the forest) and Orion having default AI (because of the yearly Wild Hunts and all). Either way, a like and subscribe from me.
