Map 1 is good but.....

MAP 2 - 4 FINALE IS PERFECT. You are literally inside the Coal Mine, very detailed AND SO BIG!

Especially the Map 3, where you have to hold the line against the Horde and Special Infected really long while descending in gigantic elevator.

Be careful in Map 2 - 4, because Charger and Tank REALLY SHINE HERE. Means charged or punch offed to the cliff lead to your death.

As for Finale, HORDE > TANK > HORDE > TANK > HELICOPTER

Played this Campaign using a "Replace L4D2 Survivors MOD" without crash. I recommend to add this your collection! XD

Loved the updates and especially that they comment on feeling cold because they are up in the mountains, the lift now makes a sound :) also I was very surprised seeing the zombies enter through the windows :) That made me realise it had been updated, I also noticed you fixed the moon, it used to look cut off on the sides! Great update! 10/10

9.5/10 A campaign I've always enjoyed, I remember on l4D1 when this was first being made and waiting for the lift level to be completed and the finale on L4Dmaps. I only took .5 because the tank that spawns when you're waiting for the helicopter always seems to spawn either on the roof, right next to the landing pad or in one of the side rooms which is far too close. It means you have to deal with tank while waiting for the heli to open its doors

i was pretty sure it was this one.

the only one majorly different was his left 4 dead 2 version of a different name.

I'm going to look for an original l4d1 version (since there seem to be a few different ones floating around) and put this campaign back as close to the original as possible. The extended version will stay as is. I had the maps already created for the ext version and ported them over to this version which is why they seem a little out of place for the old timers that played it on l4d1. Just give me a bit but I'm coming back around with a more vanilla porting.

I just like dead light music it sounds more creepy but Doesn't bother me which ones on there. If you don't want the new witch / tank music in your ports I won't add it. Just something different but it's just a matter of removing the sounds out of the folder.

Intro was created to show there are goodies in the woods but it's just a track. If you want it coming from the mine instead I can move it.
As far as the elevator being replaced on map 2 more people complained they didn't like the elevator because bots fell off it all the time so I replaced it with stairs.
Some of the changes are easy if you want them back.
The elevator descends slowly on map 3 because the undead won't disappear if they go too fast and just pile up. People were complaining about that so I slowed it down to properly dispose of the undead (its a l4d2 bug).
A lot of campaigns mention mercy hospital as it's in the scripts. Lot of custom campaigns use them but if you want it removed I can. I think it originally said I'm on my way?

Was excited as I love the original, but I admit I was disappointed.
Lots of strange changes here:
-New intro is really long - original was swift & focused on the mine, not the woods
-Several changed events
-Custom music feel out of place/Witch chase music doesn't loop properly. The Passing's ambient music feels untrue to the original, which used Blood Harvest's
-Added Survivor convos don't make any sense & radio at the end mentions Mercy Hospital.
-Witch on the bed on map 1 is just odd
-New stairs on map 2 are repetitive & eye-straining
-Map 3 elevator event is less fun for not having to run to the 2nd switch, descends painfully slowly, & falling infected are barely a threat

I don't wanna be a massive downer, I'm sure there are some who enjoy the changes, but for me, it feels quirkier & untrue to the original, which was just a really nicely balanced vanilla campaign on par with the official ones at times. Just feels less a "port" as advertised, more of a remix/remake/remaster.

The second map still has broken nav flow :( "Director cannot populate the world."
And I never paid attention and dont know if it was so before, but i've noticed some ligths diapeared(!?) And other strange things:

Overall a pretty solid port
the only serious issue I had was with the ammount of panic events, there was 3 panic events in a single stage, 3

other than that item distribution is good, didn't find any laser sights though

definitely give it a try

the campaign itself isn't bad, but the lack of supplies and poor ai really ruined it for me. play it with people and you'll probably have a better time than i did.

Hi Ryan! It seems workshop has different version than on gamemaps: 2.0 vs 19.1. And It also seems the 2nd map has broken nav flow (error "Director cannot populate the world")? Because of broken flow there aren't background zombies, event hords, it's quite empty on the map. Could you look at this and fix it, please :) I know, there is mash up version, but this one is realy cool and nostalgic!

Ryan my guess is that the saferooms need reworked. I think this campaign is a mashup of a few different maps? I coald be wrong about that but that's what it seems like. I'll take a stab at this thing once I get done with strandead.
