I have used a lot of mods that change build times and science, I like extended eras the best. I actually made a mod like that for my first mod. back before the steam workshop days though.

@jhelin0436, There is a mod that kinda does what you want its called the grand campaign which keeps the production values of standard but there is a huge amount of turns

aslo, i want a mod that makes everything a little shorter to build. i want to play the game on epic, but have everything build as if i was playing on standered mode. is there a mod out there like this? if not, can you do something like this?

I am a combat engineer, we can build bridges in minutes. ;-) The romans were known for the forts and roads though. The bridges is something I have no control over!

do they also built crazy ass bridges over night, that would take someone 2 weeks to do the same today. it was not only the romans who did this kinda stuff, but some other empires as well. they worked crazy hard for there king, no one do that kind of work today haha. unless you paid someone from the 3rd world country a ton of money.

Well, considering it took five roman legions only five years to build a 15 ft high, 6 ft thick, wall; with large forts every mile, and guard towers halfway between each fort; AND build the standard Roman defenses outside the wall (rows of sharpened poles angeled out to impale charging enemies, deep trenches, small hills and small pits full of sharp sticks for the barbarians to step on; all extending out about 20 to 30 feet from the wall); extending all the way across the middle of Britain, I don't think speeding up their build rate is all that bad.

They just build roads and forts faster than they did before.I felt building a for every turn would just be too OP, but I felt them taking forever didn't work either. For what it's worth, I run this with games where I play against Rome and they don't spam forts everywhere. I don't feel it ruins the balance for the AI.

I'm guessing this makes Roman Legions build forts and roads faster. Right now, they build roads and forts MUCH slower than workers, taking three or four turns to build a road when a worker would take one turn to do the same.

"For now I am using this." - what exactly does it do? Do the Legions now build a free Fort when they fortify? Or do they automatically fortify at the end of their turn *that would be pretty cool, roman legions are always fortified on defense)?
