This scenario might even be considered obsolete right now since the standard survival game now has a lot more planets than it used to.
Q: Will there be a version of this that supports a galaxy map? Specifically, will there be a Expanded Default Survival (double the planets) that doubles the number of planets in the entire galaxy map?
You need to set (or add if it doesn't exist yet):
RegeneratePOIs: true
SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/383120/1566501143
Random meteorites are different.
@Anthony thank you! Sometimes it's nice to take a break. :D
-Added LavaNascent as a standalone planet.
-Updated the gameoptions.yaml to match the current version in default survival.
-Ocean is still enabled, even though it's disabled in the default survival mode. Ocean was a popular planet and I didn't want to disable it unless people report problems with it.
All of the updated planets, POIs, playfields, etc included with Alpha 10 will be automatically applied to this scenario when you start a new save game.
I'll update this version to alpha 10 so most people don't have to subscribe to a new one, but if there's enough people interested in an alpha 9.7 version I can upload that as a separate one as well. :)
Just a thought...
Q: Can you give an estimate of when this scenario will include the new lava planet: LavaNascent? Sometime next week, maybe?
Until this scenario includes LavaNascent, I think I will have to hold off on trying Alpha 10 as I do not want to restart a new game needlessly, nor do I want to miss out exploring this new planet type.
Hope it works for you!
Pls i would like to ask few more details :
Inside your scenario, there is nothing inside the "Playfields" folder !
But in others "default scenarios", Default Multiplayer for example, there are folders/ files inside the "Playfields" folder !
When i'll use your scenario on my dedicated server, should I leave this "Playfields" folder empty ?
If this "Playfields" folder should not be empty what should i put inside ?
These files ( the files that usually are in "Playfields" folder ) are used for Starter Planets Config maybe ?
I know my english really sucks and google Trad is my best Friend ! :) :)
Really sorry ! I know my questions may seem stupid, I'm a beginner and this is my first game server !
Ty for your work and yours answers !

What you need to do:
Subscribe to this scenario. Open your Empyrion Steam Workshop folder on your computer (default location SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\383120 but your install location might vary)
Find the folder for this scenario which will be called "1594181950". This is the folder you'll need to copy to your server.
Follow the above guide on how to set up a dedicated server and install a custom scenario on it.
Set up your game options as you see fit (POI regeneration, force PvP, etc).
This scenario should work just fine in both Alpha 9.7 and Alpha 10 experimental because it uses default playfields, but you won't get the new lava nascent planet from alpha 10 yet.
This scenario should be fully compatible with alpha 10 and receive any updates to planets, POIs, game mechanics, etc, as long as you start a new game in alpha 10.
If they add any new planets or moons then those won't appear in this scenario until I update it which won't be until alpha 10 goes on the live branch though.
