@ravien_ff thanks.

@magnificent you have to warp around until you find the planet that links to another solar system.
magnificent 30 Dec, 2019 @ 11:48pm
excellent work! thanks for this scenario.. but i don't know how do we travel between solar systems?
ravien_ff  [author] 17 Dec, 2019 @ 11:49pm
@Thundercraft it already does. Currently all random scenarios are hard coded to generate 2-6 solar systems, including this one. This one just has double the number of planets in each solar system.

This scenario might even be considered obsolete right now since the standard survival game now has a lot more planets than it used to.
Thundercraft 17 Dec, 2019 @ 11:15pm
In the release notes for A11.5, I see that they have quote, "reactivated the new, reworked galaxy map" .

Q: Will there be a version of this that supports a galaxy map? Specifically, will there be a Expanded Default Survival (double the planets) that doubles the number of planets in the entire galaxy map?
J'ee 21 Nov, 2019 @ 2:56pm
Yeah, DOUBLE. Good work!
old moto 28 Oct, 2019 @ 2:21pm
Hy! How did you think that the game is entertaining without raw materials?
Colossal Sprout 21 Oct, 2019 @ 7:39pm
Excellent mod, also doubles as a superb example/template for how to create custom randomised scenarios. Many thanks for creating and sharing, 10/10
ravien_ff  [author] 4 Oct, 2019 @ 9:46pm
@LIQUID It's in your gameoptions.yaml. If modifying an existing save game, it should be under your save game folder for that save game.

You need to set (or add if it doesn't exist yet):
RegeneratePOIs: true
LIQUID 4 Oct, 2019 @ 8:59pm
Also this game is really hard to find information on anytime I try to Google something about modifying game files or script or anything , do not a lot of people play this game orbarebthey all educated and figure it out on there own and not dummy's like me?
LIQUID 4 Oct, 2019 @ 8:57pm
Been playing this game for about a month and haven't really dove into the yaml file yet which line is it to set the poi to regenerate?
widerstandmarkus 18 Sep, 2019 @ 1:19am
Ok Thanks!
ravien_ff  [author] 18 Sep, 2019 @ 1:18am
A restart isn't required. You can continue your old save but you won't get most of the new content unless you start a new game.
widerstandmarkus 18 Sep, 2019 @ 1:15am
Also restart its all ok?
ravien_ff  [author] 18 Sep, 2019 @ 1:13am
@widerstandmarkus yes it should work just fine. I haven't tested it but it uses all default playfields so you'll get all the new changes to planets and POIs and such when you start a new game.
widerstandmarkus 18 Sep, 2019 @ 1:11am
Does the scenario work under Alpha 10.5?
ravien_ff  [author] 22 Aug, 2019 @ 6:22pm
Random meteorites are different than depletion meteorites. Random ones will spawn every X days depending on how the playfield is set up but no default playfields use random ones. Depletion ones will start falling once you mine out 80% of an ore on a planet.
Zaflis 22 Aug, 2019 @ 6:20pm
Turns out i was wrong. "Meteorites (Random): None" actually means they do spawn.
Acidcloud 22 Aug, 2019 @ 5:09pm
TY
ravien_ff  [author] 22 Aug, 2019 @ 12:27pm
@Acidcloud it will be in:
SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/383120/1566501143
Acidcloud 22 Aug, 2019 @ 12:12pm
Where does this download into cant see it in Content\Scenarios
ravien_ff  [author] 22 Aug, 2019 @ 4:06am
If you check the planet info, it will list them under depletion meteorites.
Random meteorites are different.
Zaflis 22 Aug, 2019 @ 4:00am
I checked many planets, if they have meteorite chance they should be listed in the map info like other discoverable ores. But i found none.
ravien_ff  [author] 21 Aug, 2019 @ 11:07pm
@Zaflis the default playfields all have meteorite depletion.
Zaflis 21 Aug, 2019 @ 10:45pm
It's also missing all meteorites. They would be much preferred in singleplayer too.
ravien_ff  [author] 21 Aug, 2019 @ 12:17pm
You just need to configure your game options. Things like turning on POI regeneration, escape pod despawn. Turn off faction origin start. Etc. Otherwise it should work just fine for public multiplayer. Just know that it has the single player PDA missions active but you could swap those over to the multiplayer ones with a quick copy and paste.
Acidcloud 21 Aug, 2019 @ 10:30am
anyone adapted this to multiplayer
Zaflis 19 Aug, 2019 @ 2:49pm
2 moons on starting planet, was that possible in vanilla? ;) About the drone attacks, the base shows chance and time for next attack in the control panel -> statistics tab.
ravien_ff  [author] 17 Aug, 2019 @ 2:05am
@DynamicLMC Sometimes drone attacks can break. This scenario uses all default playfields so it's not something specific to this scenario.

@Anthony thank you! Sometimes it's nice to take a break. :D
Pr1malX 13 Aug, 2019 @ 5:55am
im not getting drone attacks, any help??
Anthony 3 Aug, 2019 @ 12:11pm
Thank you! Been spending so much time making a scenario, I wanted to play for a bit. THIS scratched my itch perfectly.

You might need to unsubscribe and then resubscribe. Try validating your game files with steam or even reinstalling the game.

Nothing
ravien_ff  [author] 19 Jul, 2019 @ 11:48pm
@jawndough1999 after you restart Empyrion it should show up under scenarios when you go to start a new game.
JohnDoe 19 Jul, 2019 @ 11:26pm
Nothing happens when I hit subscribe
Dietrich 12 Jul, 2019 @ 3:23pm
This is a great scenario option. Thank you.

Thank you both!

Love your work dude, awesome stuff !

Was looking for something like this. thanks!:steamhappy:
ravien_ff  [author] 16 Jun, 2019 @ 9:23pm
I updated this early since Alpha 10 is probably going live in a couple hours and I didn't want to make people wait until I got home from work tomorrow. Enjoy. :D
ravien_ff  [author] 16 Jun, 2019 @ 9:22pm
Updated for Alpha 10 (now required to run this scenario).

-Added LavaNascent as a standalone planet.
-Updated the gameoptions.yaml to match the current version in default survival.
-Ocean is still enabled, even though it's disabled in the default survival mode. Ocean was a popular planet and I didn't want to disable it unless people report problems with it.

All of the updated planets, POIs, playfields, etc included with Alpha 10 will be automatically applied to this scenario when you start a new save game.
ravien_ff  [author] 15 Jun, 2019 @ 7:06pm
@Thundercraft I'm planning on updating it to alpha 10 Sunday night to add the new lava planet, so right before alpha 10 actually goes live (so it's ready while I'm at work Monday).

I'll update this version to alpha 10 so most people don't have to subscribe to a new one, but if there's enough people interested in an alpha 9.7 version I can upload that as a separate one as well. :)
Thundercraft 15 Jun, 2019 @ 6:59pm
P.S.: Maybe it would be a good idea to upload a separate Alpha 10 version of this scenario instead of fully updating this to Alpha 10 (with LavaNascent, etc)? That would allow players who prefer to stick to Alpha 9.7 to continue using it for a while longer?

Just a thought...
Thundercraft 15 Jun, 2019 @ 6:55pm
Alpha 10 is supposed to go public this Monday. I don't mean to sound ungrateful. This is an awesome scenario! But I had to ask...

Q: Can you give an estimate of when this scenario will include the new lava planet: LavaNascent? Sometime next week, maybe?

Until this scenario includes LavaNascent, I think I will have to hold off on trying Alpha 10 as I do not want to restart a new game needlessly, nor do I want to miss out exploring this new planet type.
ravien_ff  [author] 27 May, 2019 @ 1:44am
@Salladin71, yes the playfields folder should be empty. This is because this scenario pulls all the playfields from the default folder. It doesn't include any custom playfields of its own. :)

Hope it works for you!
Salladin71 27 May, 2019 @ 1:20am
@ravien_ff ty it will be very helpfull !

Pls i would like to ask few more details :

Inside your scenario, there is nothing inside the "Playfields" folder !
But in others "default scenarios", Default Multiplayer for example, there are folders/ files inside the "Playfields" folder !

When i'll use your scenario on my dedicated server, should I leave this "Playfields" folder empty ?

If this "Playfields" folder should not be empty what should i put inside ?

These files ( the files that usually are in "Playfields" folder ) are used for Starter Planets Config maybe ?

I know my english really sucks and google Trad is my best Friend ! :) :)

Really sorry ! I know my questions may seem stupid, I'm a beginner and this is my first game server !

Ty for your work and yours answers !
ravien_ff  [author] 26 May, 2019 @ 8:58pm
@Salladin71, here is a general guide on setting up a dedicated server:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/383120/discussions/6/1743355067080801452/

What you need to do:
Subscribe to this scenario. Open your Empyrion Steam Workshop folder on your computer (default location SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\383120 but your install location might vary)
Find the folder for this scenario which will be called "1594181950". This is the folder you'll need to copy to your server.
Follow the above guide on how to set up a dedicated server and install a custom scenario on it.
Set up your game options as you see fit (POI regeneration, force PvP, etc).

This scenario should work just fine in both Alpha 9.7 and Alpha 10 experimental because it uses default playfields, but you won't get the new lava nascent planet from alpha 10 yet.
Salladin71 26 May, 2019 @ 10:41am
hi ty for this work i try this mod in SP mode and it is very cool ! can anyone tell me how to use this on dedicated server pls ! I don't find files on my pc to put them on the server ! ty
ravien_ff  [author] 14 May, 2019 @ 4:59am
Seems to work fine in A10 experimental, you just won't get the new LavaNascent planet but you'll get all other changes and additions when you start a new game if you opt in to the experimental version.
ravien_ff  [author] 12 May, 2019 @ 10:59pm
Alpha 10 will probably go to the experimental branch tomorrow!

This scenario should be fully compatible with alpha 10 and receive any updates to planets, POIs, game mechanics, etc, as long as you start a new game in alpha 10.

If they add any new planets or moons then those won't appear in this scenario until I update it which won't be until alpha 10 goes on the live branch though.
