LOL I was feeling all smart last night for finding this bug and you found it over a year ago :p.

Hi, I'm making a mod that also modifies the saintly bloodlines event, and I was wondering if you would be ok with me including your changes in my mod (with credit).

hm

Mmhmm, those were the first I looked at, the birth_events file mostly handles all the base events for getting a lover, bastards and other side ways for kids to show up, whereas the HFP_pregnancy_events handle all the new stuff pregenancy events that can happen with holy fury. Unfortunately neither of them handle just normal births. I've dug through the defines and some other files too and unfortunately haven't found anything useful there either. It's odd that they'd keep this function out of reach of modders, but here we are.

I thought it was in the birth events thing or maybe the HFP pregnancy events file but if its in neither of those its probably hardcoded. Sorry I am not too great at reading code.

So far I've been unable to find what file exactly determines dynasty on birth, and I've dug through a lot of the files. From what research I've done it might just be hardcoded. I'll keep looking around though, if you've got any leads let me know. I might try some work arounds though, I have some ideas there.

Hey there was just wondering if the marriage offspring thing was not fixable?
[Ba-El] Radio  [author] 24 Dec, 2018 @ 5:22pm
Oh no problem. Hopefully it'll be an easier fix. We'll see!

Sorry I just saw you were doing a bunch of fixes mod and didn't know where else to request a fix. Glad to hear you might get a fix though so take your time with the real life stuff you got going on.

That’s not in the scope of this mod, but I have been releasing a lot of fixes. I’ll see if I can figure out what’s going on there and patch it up. Might be a bit though, lotta real life work heading up to Christmas for me.

Any chance of getting a fix for the bug Holy Fury introduced where children will take their mother's dynasty if they are born after their father is dead?

Thanks! :steamhappy:

Ah, good catch, thanks for notcing that! Apparently that's left a over bug from the vanilla bloodline looking at the code here. All fixed up now! Just download the latest version of this mod.

Unfortunately that spesific individual bloodline in your save will remain broken, but any new +3 to non-pagan bloodlines that spawn in your game will now correctly apply.

Awesome mod, but I noticed as Hellenic temporal when I venerate someone, occasionally it gives the bloodline for +3 to all non-pagans it says its only active if they're christian.
