What cut off are you talking about? If its the L4D1 version, its a bug in L4D2 that the death theme gets cut off after 2 seconds. This can be fixed if you go to free roam in spectate.

Only problem is that it only acts like an in-game death... and not an absolute death. IOWs... if I play a "solo" mutator, this will not play. I've tried other Death music replacers, and they play; just not this one.
