every time i use mods in my SE runs i will always include this such an underrated and valued mod imo

I love this mod and have been looking for something like it for a long time, but I also hate it because while it adds the stuff I wanted, the 45 and 22.5 degree blocks don't line up with their armor plate companions, I don't mind that it's not air tight but I would like to see these plates flatten out with the regular armor, but otherwise a great mod

Just wondering, why are the shield components so expensive? I mean, literally requires platinum and uranium... iron, nickel, cobalt, even gold I could get (depending on the electornics), but it seems needlessly expensive compared to their function. Maybe that's just me?

Would also love to see a small block version if possible please? Great for protecting cameras and weapons. Also a half height '1/2 x 3 x 3' small grid 'tank hatch' would be really cool! ;)

Could you make a shield that extends upwards (instead of hinge-like)? I think it would be good as bridge emergency shield.

Indeed! Infact, I just updated this mod with new block shield types, which are way cheaper to build, but are also way more fragile

They could take a small amount of energy (the structural integrity of external cladding)
