projected props are also by and far better than any vanillia rotor prop design, that just summons clang xD

yes I always try to avoid mods if possible. Thats why I upload my planes in the vanilla version and the wing block version. I think the projected propelers do the trick xD

@Hull Breach Very nice rendition of an F4U, perfect wing profile, colors are spot-on and the wings even properly fold to fit on the deck/in the hangar of a carrier. Also; while I can't make out from the photos, depending on the orientation of it's weapons; you could position their access hatches so that a survival player could manually load the guns. Great work :)

but you're right. I'm trying to avoid mods but the plane is much more fun to fly with the aero wings, so I had to use it :-)

yes I know about plane parts and run that mod all the time but vanilla blueprints are much more popular on the workshop than modded ones. I'll proabbly use plane parts on this blueprint for my own personal use but I know why he tried to keep it as modless as possible. although the plane parts retractable gear would be modded wheels on modded rotors on modded wings that are also on rotors....lol... call your family and tell them you love them before that flight. Lord clang is on the stick!

You Guys do know that there is the Plane Parts Mod by Takeshi, that is with all the stuff Digi has plus landing gears and also Takeshi's Plane Parts plus with propellers... ;)

Yes the landing gear thing bothers me, too. But I couldn't find a solution, yet.

beautiful work. one of my 2 favorite WWII fighters. I wish there was a practicle way in vanilla to retract landing wheels on builds like this. I may use the plan parts mode and try setting that up on your awesome design. can't have landing gear hanging below a corsair in flight.....even if I have to drop them off via merge blocks :)

A very good choice of aircraft to use with the default fighter cockpit.
