did the missiles stop working?

@forwardthefoundationii Yes, this is a limitation of projectors, they don't work with subgrids. The easiest option is to ditch the rotor based weapons and replace with regular turrets and forward facing rocket launchers.

so its impossible to project this as a whole in survival? the attaching part seems complicated...

@Jasper in survival you need a projector and weld the blocks but some of the turrets wont be there because the projector isn't able to project multiple grids. if your in creative then you need to press f10, search for the ship click on it (once will open up a menu and you want copy to clipboard, twice is a quicker way of spawning it) then press M1 to place it and there you go you have the ship

It's a gorgeous and deadly ship -- but when I fire the missile salvos, the second round invariably hits the ship's nose! I figure I'm doing something wrong (it's a really high-tech ship!). On the bright side, it survived multiple hits with its own missiles :D

@Kakaris - Yes, you'll need to make seperate BPs as projectors don't project sub grids.

You will then need to build them seperately and manually attach them to the rotors using the rotor part.

When building on a survival server how do I put down the small block grids with a projector( or do I have to load make bp's of them seperately?)

Well my design of weaving heavy and light armor can have its downsides, and projectiles like the ones on the Direwolf can hurt bad... especially when the owner knows his ships weak points :P

Fantastic work as always man, but If I could add something; I think some small hydrogen thrusters for ascending/decending (maybe in the wing sections) would be a great addition!:steamhappy:

@Venom415 - Thanks man. Glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate the feedback. Yeah, sometimes the missiles don't launch quite right, not sure what it is.

I tested the Direwolf on the RCSP Phoenix, it's a very cool ship and pretty tough. I did get a few missiles through though. I found the best defence against these missiles is lots of interior turrets, they seem to make good point defence.

As for the computer core, this is the first ship I've published since the subgrid fixes, so obviously I had to put a rotor on a piston. :D

soooo I tested your ship without reading the instructions you wrote... Stumbling upon the different weapon systems you put into this thing was such a joy to uncover! I had a blast testing this against my ships, lost track of time tbh haha. only Issue I had was that a few missiles didnt stay straight when launching and they turned the merge blocks in a way that they wouldnt be able to work properlly. Other than that its functions are fantastic! (also I love that rising computer core :P)

@Pyro - Subscribe above, then Press F10 in creative mode for the blueprint menu. Select the ship from the list and use Ctrl+V to paste in game.

Also, in the description, you use "it's" instead of "its" pretty often.
Only use "it's" where you'd say "it is." Otherwise, use "its."

@Dino - I used to think it was wierd too, then High Ground demonstrated how long their ammo lasted, and their effectiveness vs Small Grid, and now I'm sold on their use. Tbh though, that was about two years ago, so they may not be as useful now.

@Auto - Thanks. Glad to see you're still about too, and making some amazing mods now it seems! I got an idea for a mod, but you probably hear that a lot. :D

Thanks to all for the positive responses! You guys are motivation fuel!

@Breytac - The missiles are already guided by Whip's optical missile guidance, the front camera is the "Laser". However, if you want fire and forget, you should be able to convert this ship to fire any 3x3 ion missile type and Rdav's should be an easy conversion.

@FatRefrigerator - For a while, yeah, Hyperion Systems is back! :D

@Eclipse The Wolf - Interiors are probably one of my weakest points, other builders make nice spacious, comfortable interiors, but the crewman of the CEU have to live in cramped submarine like conditions! If I had any tips, and I'm sure there are others who have better tips, it would be to make sure most rooms are at least 2 blocks high and to seperate the ship into bulkheads with a central corridor. That's more or less what I do.

Ships like this just make me go...i need serious help/lessons in ship design, especially interior...i have a ship which i've been trying to get the interior to work for about 6 months now and still nowhere near done...nor do i think it's even good, oh well.

@Showdown Samurai Sam - It's not designed to do so and wouldn't be suitable for cruising about in a gravity well. However, it does have lots of rear thrust, so it might be able to take off vertically, I've not tested it though.
