I'll try to make them hybrids later in a separate mod. For this one, I was thinking of buffing their non AP damage to push them further into their niche and avoid overlap with hand cannons (another unit I'll be looking at in a bit).

To add to that, would it be possible to also change their voiceset to the deckhand one, and also their name to Zombie Deckhand Mob (Bombers)...I have zero modding experience but would definately love to have an attempt at making this mod if you don't want to work them in this way...i'd probably get it horribly wrong though lol

One interesting idea to make them more viable I heard was making them essentially zombie deckhands with bombs rather than gunnery mobs with bombs...a bit like dwarf miners with satchel charges. They would function fine with their pathetically low ammo count in this way, and are balanced by their lower unit size compared to deckhands (they are still better ofc, but also more expensive and a higher tech tier) a change like this would probably also ideally move their recruitment over to the melee unit building, but this would obviously also reduce compatibility

maybe buff their ml and md abit to make them better when ammo is gone.
