Wow..... your a fucking ignorent moron.....
I may implement an alternative UU, the Fedayis, in the future.
I dont think its that much really, since it already has good bonuses.
And man I love this mod, cant stop playing haha xD
Currently making a map image for Armenia, which means I'll update the map image as well.
But yeah, tbh i'll go with anything, the worker isnt a problem.
Not having alot of cities, along with the worker and the bonuses generally, is a nice idea
and will work. Armenia isn't really famous for having been big considering landmass.
The idea of ''Small country with good potential'' really fits! The age where the unhappiness ends can probably be the medieval or the reinaissance. Good thought! xD
+8 Faith would be very overpowered, you know that: the Grand Temple provides that! :p The Stele provides +2 Faith, I didn't want to "steal" their effect, it just wouldn't be very unique. I'd like to keep the Khachkar as it is, perhaps I can add a Future Yield of Faith: Faith bonus after a certain technology.
Thanks for the appreciation! I'll see what I can do.
Only one thing though, Armenia is one of (if not) the first christian countries, and the Khachkar plays a huge role in its history, maybe a little faith bonus would do (since some people might think the worker is kind of OP?) Maybe +8 Faith or something. Just a suggestion though :)
Some current official civs could you consider "overpowered" as people already complained before they even played as them (Shoshone for example). Also, things may just have been in your favour, regardless of Armenian's unique effects.
I'm kind of running out of original ideas tbh as I can only choose certain effects as defined in the .xml files. To make new ones, I would need to make .lua files, which aren't that easy from what I've seen.
@Levoni Perhaps I'll add it in the future and thanks :)
Steam DOES indeed suck. An 80% failure rate in getting mods through steam isn't something any decent software developer should be willing to accept.
@spinnstduoderwas I'm not planning on making any major changes, sorry :p Since you can make your own art and have some ideas, you can try to make your own Armenian civ, eh? It's not hard. If you choose to do this, tell me. I'll help you! :)
@Pimp Daddy D I hope you like it.
@Evenan Thanks! :)

I can do more if you like these, but I think the best colors from the Artaxiad dynasty would be pommegranate (440008) and pale gold (d2b482). The colors are also prety standard in Armenian art. The symbol I chose is from the Bagratid dynasty. This covers a wider swath of Armenian history.
This civ is more focused on the period of the Artaxiad Dynasty, famed for Armenia's greatest territorial expansion, which is why I focused more on that aspect rather than something defensive.
I also doubt whether something defensive would be very appealing. I could think of making defensive buildings more effective, or units being stronger in friendly lands etc. but I wanted to give this civ something special and interesting, something versatile, where you can use a certain tactic.
Last but not least, I can upload an alternative trait for you, something defensive. I'm not sure whether that trait would be very special, I don't use .lua files. I can certainly try, though :P
I do hope you enjoy this mod as it is, apart from the UU.
Or you could do an Armenian cavalry, those are harder to find information on, but in the middle ages the armenian cavalries were considered to be the strongest of europe. Also you could replace the symbol with the arevakhach http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arevakhach
Keep it up!
