Only Joffrey (red player) and Stannis (yellow player) can take King’s Landing after King Robert’s death. Ned, Arya, and Sansa stay in King’s Landing as a guest while receiving gold every 10 minutes. If yellow decides to betray you, there’s nothing you can do to stop them from killing Ned, Arya, and Sansa. However, your bannermen gain extra hp and ap when Ned dies. You can take King’s Landing by rebuilding a castle on the marked area. I hope that answered your question.

I can't seem to take Kings landing... Ned and Arya and Snasa die everytime, cause the castle kills them!

You need to set your resources to high before starting the game. You’ll have plenty enough to get started.

if i play as the targaryens how do i get any wood to build a tc or some sort of foundation? also varys starts at kings landing but is instantly killed?
