I see, thank you! I've been using a different advisor mod without the DLC and it's working just fine

@Freef Back when I made the mod initially, S-D DLC added the option for more advisors and whatnot, no idea if it's required these days. Haven't played or modded the game much in a long while.

Does this work without the DLC?

It should work, but if there are any new voicelines then the default advisor will speak them out. I'll get around to updating eventually.

I expect this won't work now that we're up to 3.7, but damned if it wouldn't go well with the new "Fear of the Dark" origin.

@Frankfurt61 Definitely fits much better, updated as suggested.

As a side note, for some reason the game doesn't see the supported version properly even though it is set. I'll try to fix that later, but the mod should work just fine.

so far i am playing vaders star wars modpack based on ultimate - i saw this mod and replayed going a bit of sith /empre style and the quotes work like magic xD

@Seditious.Venus Science ship and Construction ship lines added as suggested, I also changed Colony ship destroyed while I was at it. Military Fleet destroyed has already been implemented from the beggining, and the line is "They are cursed to float forever, deep in the swirling blackness, far beyond the light's reach." Thanks for the feedback.

Science ship under attack could be set with "Such a terrible assault cannot be left unanswered" because your science ships contain at least somewhat valuable leaders who ideally should be protected - last thing you want is for your best surveyor to bite the dust, eh?
Construction ship destroyed could be "Another life wasted in the pursuit of glory and gold" as your constructors are one of your primary sources of income, building mining and research stations.
Not sure if you already have something for this, but a military fleet being destroyed could pull "Wherefore, Heroism?"

This one fits suprisingly good as a Imperium of Man advisor
