Does anyone have the feeling the Elite Crew's viewmodel hands are built off of Coach's? (Compare them with both Coach and Leet holding the M4A4)

Yeah, I did this way back before he did all his. He has kept his updated with the skins and what though. Also dropped the dinky flashlight I threw on there for the more traditional one in Left 4 Dead. Definitely check his out, most people will probably prefer them, this one is pretty bad. xD

No, it's not dead. I still very well plan on getting custom animations going as well as tweaking the flashlight. (Repainting texture, increases polycount, tweaking texture lighting) School has just started and getting settled in is keeping me busy. Thanks for your patience though.

So, any updates or progress in the custom animations or something like that Draco?, i would like to know if this addons is not like dead like the mods on moddb something like that, so i just want to know if this still alive and still in the progress or at least testing in something.

why reversed flashlight?

I've actually tweaked it substantially since the last update, but I have not been able to push it yet due to life stuff. I'll put an update up as soon as I can but I can't guarentee anything immediate. I do understand how this stuff works. ;P

I did fix on the weird, ugly glowing part. Here is my edit: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=163741098 It looks more realistic glow button :)

If you want to fix it, here is the details ( if you haven't already that is :3 ):

Open the vmt file "potato_light.vmt" and change the $selfillumFresnelMinMaxExp to
$selfillumFresnelMinMaxExp "[0.0045 0.0045 0.0045]"

Ah, yeah, that is true. I kinda just grabbed one that looked similar to one that / I / have, but that one is definitely a twist-on.

I have been tweaking the size and the texture quite a bit today, it will roll out with a future patch; I do agree, the button is rather large, but it is supposed to take up most of the back. I will probably not be removing the glow, because it has been fairly successful, however, I will try and tweak it some more and see what I can come up with.

that's a flashlight you actually scroll the top so it turns on or off :3 I have a similar one, useful to check inside your computer.

anyway, by checking on the webs i found some that had on the back, but the button ain't super huge (goes near the edge) like yours. I recommend you should make it smaller so it doesn't look weird, plus fix the glow-in-the-dark bit on the vmt so it doesn't look like it have a strong lamp in the back.

what kind of flashlight model are you using, since i have never seen such a flashlight with a big weirdo button at the end (its usually on the side due its easier for the person to light it up).

Pushed a largish update, details in the changelog. For those who are interested, I have gotten permission to use Inter's animations, which I find fit a little bit better then Arby's for this model. I'll have the custom animations version up as soon as I can.

@MacTavish: Thanks for pointing that out, I thought the texture looked odd. I must have mixed up my source resources files during one of the larger updates. This is fixed.

the skin's using world model textures (which are very low res), i suggest using the gun textures found in the v_model folder

can i see it from a 3rd person perspective from both sides please? all im going to see it in the game is my viewmodel anyways, id like to see it on the ground too here before i commit, but whatever ill do it anyway. just saying. add more and better pictures

@Leolanes: VALVe actually reused the AK-47 from Left 4 Dead 2 as their model for CSGO. The only difference is a nice refurbishing of the texture. DJ_von_CAHEK (more free advertising :D) has actually already ported over the texture. You can get his mod here .
