Jokes aside. The current game engine makes it impossible for me to fix this. Makes me sad, because it worked like a charm when I first uploaded it.

Some people use a projector in survival mode to project a ship's blueprint into the world and build it there. But subgrids (= grids on piston or rotor heads) are not projected, so in this case the hangar door will not show up in a projection. You would have to rebuild it (could be complicated) or spawn the complete ship with admin permissions.
Multiplayer in general improved a lot since the multiplayer overhaul patch a few months ago. Server performance is better now. I have a bad internet bandwith (12k), but I can still play on my dedicated server with a bunch of friends so with a good bandwith it should be no problem.
So if you have a good or at least average bandwith, this ship should be absolutely usable in multiplayer.
