Oof! The vanilla item has always annoyed me so much. Should have figured years ago that it would bother someone else enough to mod it. XD Thank you, thank you! Far too many issues like this that should have been addressed by the devs.

@RyTheNarwal check "Starbound Patch Project", they should be able to find and fix what you're talking about. It may not be just a texture replacement, even if it's vanilla.
