"What it be. What it do. Happy man snacks back again with a new review." Turning on this aircraft is satisfying and well done, But as it says the flying into the air is god awful.

I just waited to do enything eccept for using the rudder a bit. Until it took of by itself.

After experimenting a bit, it seems the best way to take off is to keep the plane pitched downward while taxiing, so the back wheel stays off the ground. Then the air speed will get high enough for it to gradually lift off, at which point you can start pitching upward.

In this way, it reminds me a lot of the Dodo in Grand Theft Auto 3, because that plane had to be flown the same way.

This does give the experience of flying an early experimental aircraft. It feels like such an accomplishment to get a few stories high, that it gives you a new appreciation for what we can do now in aviation.

its fucking amazing
Krautregen  [author] 29 Oct, 2018 @ 5:14am
Well, it needs quite a long runway so make sure there's plenty of space infront.

it ran strait into the wall i started at one wall crashed into the other

Try pressing nothing and waiting long enough, after a short while it should take off from itself. Playing in Barrren Expanse helps too cause of the free space.

Cant even get it off the ground

Kraut, You should try making an modern commercial airliner inspired aircraft. I would love to see one. (Example: Boeing 777, Airbus A320, McDonnel Douglas DC-10) Also, an fun addition to it would be an engine failure mechanic that wouldn't set the wings on fire.

beautiful and really accurate looks! flies like crap indeed, but banks pretty nice. the moment you roll the plane even the slightest it starts to fly in circles. I speed up the speed a little bit and made it fly stable (so without constantly losing height). tip for other pilots here trying this out, I liked flying it at 200% more than with 100%
