I had a manhunter fungus flommel... it was night time thus, it attacked one of the wildmen right outside my houses. poor little guy killed one and got killed by the secound :(
BTW is the "giant puffball" variant a Bovist or rather Kartoffelbovist? It could use a poisonous spore cloud upon death. much like boomalopes explode in fire ;)

Also I was revisiting Starbound for some nostalgia and the fluffalos reminded me of these guys, I think there might be a collective subconscious thing going on, between many adorable things looking like each other but being unrelated.

I would love to make a flommeloid race. It would be a little weird I think but...they would look cute. But I never looked into the code for humanoids.

I think the flommel plant has the same stats as the melon (idk if these were a mod). So they are just for eating. If the blight won't destroy them first... :'D

I love this mod so much, originally I came for easy upkeep pets producing stable food, but stayed for how much they look like my favourite plushie.

One thing I kind of wish existed is flommeloid humans to complete my flommel only colony, also a flommeligion would be brilliant too.

Got back into Rimworld a little while ago and could not for the life of me remember the name of these little guys. It just popped into my head out of the blue and I rushed over to find them updated to 1.5 and ready to play. I cannot begin to tell you how happy this makes me :) :) :)

Been away from rimworld for awhile, thrilled to return and find Flommels are up to date and as adorable as ever!

Hello flommel friends! I tried for so long to see what the error code is about in the 1.5 version and sadly I need to delete the file that makes it possible to have different colors for male/female. I only know things about XML and this file is also from another mod so I have no idea what is wrong with it. I will make a seperate 1.3-1.4 flommel version so you can still play with these textures. For 1.5 I'll take the other option to make random colors because this still works for all my other mods. But with this options there is no longer a difference between male/female textures which I hate.

Maybe someday someone can fix it and tell me or I'll find somehow another similar thing.

No, it was simply… invisible O.o really weird. But a restart fixed it ^^

This is weird maybe it was eaten almost 100% but a little bit still was there? If the texture would be missing there would be a pink square. Had that with a dead colonist and a flommel ate his arms, legs and torso and there was barely anything visible anymore :'D

I just found out that there’s a huge rot stink cloud on my map, but I couldn’t see why. On second glance (what’s on that exact spot) there’s a rotting woolly flommel. There’s no texture, so it’s not shown :/

The one person for whom I was maintaining Flommel has gotten back into Rimworld after a long break, and still considers Flommel an essential mod. This person would likely never comment here directly, but I felt I'd tell you all the same. :D

Hey, I just noticed, one of those lizard Flommel (with the new skin), I got one on my screen, it’s black with yellow freckles (I think, it’s night, sorry). Sooo… it’s weird, cause it goes backward up and down xD I think the skin is falsely implemented or so. Just wanted to let you know :)

Finally updated Lizard Flommel there are now leopard colored ones and salamander, Ocean Breeze Flommel with more intense colors like rare "Sunbath" and "Deep Glow" and Rainbow Flommel. The new Pelt Flommel will soon follow as they are almost ready.

@Co Pilot Yeah I just love the idea of many variations and "shiny" ones. It adds a little excitement to every egg you find. "What will it be?!" :D

Hi! I love your mod to pieces so thanks for maintaining it! I was curious if you added color variations and "shiny" versions of each Flommel type. I recently had two Pink Flommels produce a dark gray pink Flommel and it was so cool.

@Sugarstar Aw thats so cute! Sadly I had so much to do the last months so I couldn't concentrate on my Flommels but soon there will be another update with fresh models and maybe even a new Flommel race :D

I just wanted to come say how much I love the flommels. I was cheerfully showing my husband all my flommels and he asked how many types there were so I came to look them up. I love mine so much omg. (One of my colonists named a woolly one Caboodle ;__; it's so cute) I must collect them all.

Could you please make a version that has less variations? While I would like to see these new variations, after the last Flommel update my modlist made RimWorld go out of memory errors. Please and thanks!

Finally finished the new Trike Flommel sprites! They can now shine with their brand new variations of horns and colors and I made them caravan animals.

Ah I know the RAM problem from a few years. It was so hard if you want to tame everything :'D Maybe I should open an Etsy store for them. I sew so many stuffed Flommel someday the space for them will run out :')

@Tigerblut Oh I didn't even realise. I just upgraded my RAM meaning I can now have more animals as pets/livestock rather than just a couple caravan animals. Which means I'm gonna start me a Flommel ranch! :D (On a sidenote I want a plushie)

@Lady Vykeen Stego, Pelt and Rainbow Flommel are caravan animals! I also think about making the Trike ones for caravans.

New update with some fresh and fancy flommel!

The Trickle Flommel, Stego Flommel and Candy Cotton Flommel got some new textures. Stego Flommel can now appear with the Dalma Flommel textures because I wanted to put these two together. So the "real" Dalma Flommels that are still in the game will vanish sometime in july but won't spawn anymore in the wild now. Also the candy cotton has finally a good candy cotton bucket sprite.

Trike Flommel update will soon follow.

Also I wanted to say next update will be for the Trickle, Trike and Stego Flommel. I began to draw too many new ones and now nothing is 100% finished :'D
