I was too dumb to figure out your C# engagement tool so I ended up modifying the ship files directly for the new ships - which helped me discover at least for single player the modified values or formulas in your lua for movement speed dont work. Salvage corvette still has MS of 255.
Honestly, your mods are some of my favorite here, they lined up exactly with my thinking that the ships in HW2 died too quick. Looking forward to w/e mods you put out in the future!
I can see it in my head now: load the three versions of the file for say, interceptors. Note down what changes were made to the specific file for the 2.3 patch, and in you 'modded' file noting what you changed from vanilla, and just putting those changes into a version of the 2.3 patch file.
Just remember to note your progression in the changenotes.
If you want 5x health boost, use Engagements Lite. By default that applies only to multiplayer, if you also want singleplayer, use that and Engagements Lite Singleplayer Add-on. No need to also have regular Engagements in either version.
In the singleplayer campaign, the Turanic and Kadeshi ships don't have nearly the same scaling of their health; I believe it's actually exactly the same. This is true across all variants of Engagements SP.
This also leads me to the opinion that Lite is probably the best for Singleplayer as the ship quantity normally will never reach what a multiplayer game would anyway, and shouldn't destroy balance too hard as a result.
Unfortunately this means that the missions involving them were disappointingly easy. Mission 3 was harder but there were also like 40 assault frigates that showed up.
I would just like their values scaled up. I'd love to tinker with your engagements-style editor but sadly don't have the time.
(plus I'd really like to capture and keep the 40 or so missile corvettes I had before they mercilessly exploded in mission 5)fire at them, rather than breaking away. They melt quite sadly.
