drogo man, not all ciws are miniguns, but something like the phalanx ciws has a minigun, but there are also ciws that are rockets, there may be other ones, but theres more than just a minigun

StormScar you can just use a ciws, its basically a fullsized minigun thats used to shoot down planes helis and rockets etc.

Any gun can overheat, it doesn't matter if it's a machine gun or not. Yes, i know, this game isn't realistic, but it is good for balance.
