Yes, it works on the final game version.
this i and it seems now obsidian beleave it could be because steam is not playing nice with this games mod folder download location. Could you buy chance put this mod on nexus mods. at worst you will get more downloads also if there is a issue sometimes people will post how to fix it.
My mod isn't modifying XP gained for a party, but this might be a result of another mod or the newest patch (dunno).
If you are not receiving more casts from powerlevel 6 (so lvl 13 multiclass/lvl 10 singleclass) that means that other mod is overriting mine.
One of the possible culprits popular on steam is 'Aloth - new and improved' as this mod is a one, big dirty fix for one of the gamefiles (which is also responsible for number of casts), so it overrites every other mod if not loaded first (and even if it donwgrades this file to an earlier patch of poe2...)
Check options and mod loading: try to load a game with my mod being loaded the last; my number of casts per lvl should load immediately.
Thanks for your earlier reply. I was playing with this mod just now. But my level 20 character still only has 2 spell casts on the first 4 levels. Also, after playing a game withi this mod installed, I think the characters not in party are receiving less XP than before. For example, in my earlier run, when my main party hits level 20, the resting crew would be about level 18, no? But this time they are only around level 12. Maybe you would like to look into that? =) Thanks
That's the pillars of eternity 2 folder. From there its a matter of opening the 10digit numbered folders (each of those is a mod for that game) and checking the manifest,json file (specifies which mod it is and a few other things).
You might need some software to read that file, but I think that notepad++ is sufficent (even with the base installation of that) otherwise it works with an extra library or something (which you can probably find by looking up 'notepad++ json files' in your favorite search engine).
P.S. Sorry if this was a little pedantic, I have no idea how comfortable you are with this type of stuff and was trying to be thorough... I hope the tone didn't come off as otherwise. :S
P.P.S: If anyone tracks down the particular folder they might consider posting it here as other people might be interested.
I believe that after reaching a new level your character will start progressing as written above, which might leave you with a few ability points behind if he happens to progress two powerlevels after a single level up. A possible fix would be to reset him in a tavern if you have some gold to spare.
@ykeiwan1996
if you really wish for this, you can simply edit the value in a textfile swapping value of attribute points from 25 to 15, but I don't feel this to be a necessity.
I left it like this to have a simple way to check whatever the edits from my mods aren't overloaded by other mods, without realising something is wrong only after leveling a character up. You can just leave 10 unspent points on character creation to retain vanilla values.
you can find it in steamapps/workshop/content/560130/1526620127
I suppose that numbers for games and mods are universal, if not you have to check this folder one by one until finding it ;)
