Hi there All,

Sincere apologies for not updating all of my mods in such a long time. Life stuff got in the way, and when I did have some free time, I just didn't want to go back to this stuff as a quick read made it seem like it was going to be a pain to fix. Finally in a bit of a better head space, and with Wreckfest 2 coming out soon, figured these PROBABLY won't break again, so I looked into it, and it turned out to be a relatively easy fix. I went ahead and updated all of my track mods. At least for Wild West Motorsports Park and the Loop of Death version of Stockton 99, the devs added some tracks that essentially did the same thing (and in WWMP's case, literally the same track, haha), so you weren't missing much with my stuff being gone, but now Ukiah and Petaluma are back and playable too, which is nice for folks that like the small ovals.

I have been having the mud on my car problem, and I have deduced that this mod is the culprit.

I have the same problem as the guy below me. When I use this mod, all cars have mud decals applied to them as the race starts.

don't replace the surface list. there's no reason to and this mod breaks things because of it

Love the mod some of my favorite tracks but while the mod is downloaded my car is covered in the most dirt possible.

Love the mod! These tracks are a blast. I noticed after the countdown at the start of each race, a dirt texture is applied to every car, significantly reducing performance. It seems to be doing this on every track as well (including the vanilla tracks). Other than that, these tracks are an absolute essential to making Wreckfest more fun!

@Trotux Gotcha. Have to look to see if I still have the project files. Had a drive die on me, and I think it may have had my most up to date versions on there.

If you still have the project files, would be nice if you re-exported the track. That's likely the only thing required.

since the 30th of June game update the #speedup material tag doesn't work in other mods (like the Paradise Eight Loop in TVTP2) when this mod in particular is activated.

I don't know if you know about that or if it is something to care about. It still works with the vanilla tracks.

@KillerAJD I didn't know Wild West Motorsposrts Park was a real place lol, thanks for explaining. I'll bet they keep an eye out for good tracks in the workshop though, you probably are inspiring new tracks!

@TheWreckiteer Hah! No, didn't hear from anybody, but the tracks aren't identical (not like they used my models or anything). Rattlesnake Park is definitely based on Wild West Motorsports Park though, which my mod is a recreation of. Not sure if they were inspired by my mod or not, but if so, that's awesome! Same with my Loop of Death variant of my Stockton 99 mod, which may have inspired the Death Loop track they added to the game last year.

is this track part of the official game now? the new Rattlesnake Park or whatever track they added last week seems very similar to this track's layout anyway, hope they talked to you before using your track...if they're using your track, maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me

Great job! In real life they had a press launch for the new Ram TRX here. Watching the videos I immediately recognized the track from your mod. Super cool!

No problem! Honestly a bit embarrassed at how easy the fix seems to have been. The little bit of investigation I had done a few months ago led me to believe it was going to be a pain to fix, so I just gave up on them. Glad I was able to actually get them to work again though.

Updated the track, so it hopefully will now work with the latest update. Should no longer have issues loading, and shouldn't break vanilla tracks. I've only checked to see if it works with my mods, so no promises that it won't break when other mods are installed. Some missing textures still, but not sure if/when I'll get to those.

hey i dunno if this is still being supported but it appears to be broken in its current state. "cant find tire effect surface 'resetplayer_delay' (specified in data/vehicle/shared/effect/tire.fxte) from data/property/settings/surfacelist.srfl" is what it tells me, i have all other mods disabled and still the same issue, the track wont load at all

I came here to report the same issue as Hermit did, but he beat me to the punch lol. Just figured out that it was WWMP mod that was causing my drop-through on certain race tracks (Hellride for one). Good luck with the fix in the future!

@Hermit Thanks for the heads up. Haven't looked into the latest update, and I'm not sure when I will be able to (probably after the new year), but I'll look to see if there's something I can do to fix it.

@KillerAJD: I'm afraid this mod has slightly broken in the latest game update. The track itself still works fine, however when the mod is activated it causes some other, vanilla tracks to break.

Specifically, tracks with wooden ramps (such as the loop-the-loop on Deathloop and the large banked turns on Hellride) to lose collisions, so cars clip through them and fall out of the track's boundaries.

This isn't the only mod which does this, seems a few of them have this issue. BB must have changed something in the game code which a number of mods use. Just letting you know so you can be aware^^ Thanks for your time, and your work in bringing us this cool mod :)

o/ This track is awesome, I'd like to use it for an event I'm going to host soon. I'm not sure if it's possible or how difficult such a thing would be, but would it be possible to have a non-slippery version? Like just gravel surface such as Sandstone tracks? Either way great work dude

@Kinsgspian Super glad to hear it works for others and not just me! I appreciate you letting me know it's fine. It was a mad scramble to try and get my tracks working after the update broke them, and I'm stoked the fix actually worked (and as noted above, I know some textures are broken right now, but that'll have to wait until after I'm back from vacation, haha). The other issues with the update definitely sound annoying though, but I've personally not been hit with the mods completely breaking bug yet (here's hoping that gets fixed soon!).

Your track works well after the Update. I like to send out comments so everyone knows there's no problem. The mods are not working so I'm using another profile and using the new one I have as a backup just in case.

@The_Imperfectionist Is it the graveldark error? If so, it seems to be an issue with a conflict with my tracks (or some of them at least?) and The Very Trackpack. TVE (author of that pack) has said he'd be working on a hotfix earlier today, so that might fix it. In the mean time, I've asked him if there's anything I should change on my end to get it to work (from what I recall when working on these, my tracks shouldn't have texture conflicts, but I also didn't really know what I was doing, so who knows, haha).

Avoiding this. Causes missing texture errors when I play any track with this mod installed.

@MjrFatality Hmm, unfortunately, I never set up a server using this track specifically, and I'm really not the person to ask for general server setup stuff. I'd look around for guides on setting up a server if you haven't already, as it might be a port-forwarding issue? Also, you probably know this, but as far as I understand, you need to be subscribed to the same exact mods (and in the same order) to be able to join a server with modded tracks/cars running. Maybe it's an issue with that? In my testing, I did get this track running at least via a LAN server, so I have no idea why it wouldn't work via internet too.

Friend had a server going, subscribed and then the server would only show up as a LAN server.

@godzillaman2 Glad to hear it! I've been to the track a few times, but only as a spectator, and I tried to get it as close as I could! If you've been on it and are saying that, sounds like I got pretty close!

OMG Thank you cant wait to try those dirt tracks out. I was just working on getting the blender work path up and running but you have good taste in Dirt. :) I need to just feed you assets to put in your tracks. Cant wait to try these out.

Absolutely liked the Tube of Love - driving on walls and maintaining speed is crucial.
Like in GTAO Stunt Races - this track is no worse.

@druiz996 For sure, there's even an entire section (plus the pit road around turn one) that I finished but haven't made a variant for yet. Some of my experiments were a bit lackluster, so I didn't keep it in the first release. I'll definitely work on messing with it and adding a crossover version at some point.
