does this have multiple BP's becuasse the game has loading problems when there are rotors aplied 2 the vehicle

@Guruthos
Upload away man, I have no issues with that. Just add me as a contributer to keep others from freaking out and saying you copied my blueprint etc etc. It will save you the headache of dealing with that kind of toxicity.

I found the script i was looking for. Probably later i will be able to continue the configuration of the Truck/Trailers. I wanted to ask if i am allowed to upload it so you or others can take a look at it.

the rework actually just took about 15 to 30 minutes because your design has great framework.

actually it really was painful to build the solar array. the force appled by rotors is simply too low without mods so it needs nalot of balanceing and i don't know how often i needed to rebuild parts of the trailer cause i needed to disconnet to reduce or increse the lengt of joints leting it drop and tryig to catch it before it hits the ground. but after i think 4 hous of trying around i got it done. i think it got 32 solar panels now producing nearly 1MW. it has timers to deploy. but i am missing a script where i can set the "solar rotors" to a specific angle after the i stoped the solar alleignment script from Isy, so i still do it manualy untill i found that script.

@Guruthos

Nicely done ;). I may have to rework the design, would have never guessed the 5x5s would fit without seriously reworking everything. I Initially planned to have a larger deployable solar array on the module with a sun tracking script but by the time I had it half way built, it was too massive and would be a pain to build in survival. I've been kicking around the idea of building a habitiation module that is pressurized to pair up with this current trailer setup with a sun tracking solar array.

Space Engineers has come a long way in physics stability, im still blown away that hitch doesnt instantly clang out, let alone merging everything together.

I already modified it :). Simply removed the 4 small wheels replaced it with 3 5x5 wheels. Actually because of your genious hitch system it is still possible to use the regular towing vehicle. Even because it's kinda light it tends to flip a bit easier. I already reworked another truck for pulling it and included a flexible storage module to it to carry either Batteries or additional cargo so you don't need to always drive with the trailer. With that it can make it quite well even trough rough terrain and slopes up to i guess 35° without that it will flip ...
today i guess i will work on a portable and deployable solar tower for the trailer and see how much i need to pray to the god of clang to not destroy the entire vehicle because aswell i plan to attach both of that trailers at the same time.
if you are interested you could have a look it and imprive the way it looks if it's not detonating.

@Guruthos

Glad you like it, I have no problems with others modifying my creations to fit thier needs, my uploads are simply for others to enjoy and inspire.
I do agree, this thing is a low rider and my previous iterations were even worse, you could raise the deck from the wheels by a block and adjust the lower limit for the ramps to accomidade the extra hight, along with the module pistons and trailer pistons. I didn't do this simply because it's pretty top heavy as is.
That would be my suggestion.

This really is an amazing build. I Build something similar myself but not as complete and not as nice looking. Because i am terrible in designing but like to "enginieer" so i usually use BP's from others and modify them till they fit my needs. But this actually contains everything necessary. Just to really use this in survival this trailers sadly needs way more ground clearence but i have no idea how to do it without destroying it's look or using a different vehicle to tow it.

@ DakuTatsu

That's my fault for not providing a pic with a button layout, theres a lot of buttons on this creation. and I would guess that the large grid inside the module wouldnt keep the controls from the small grid during printing since they were not in groups.

To clarify for others, it should only be two buttons to actually decouple all three components; a button on the side of the rover labeled as "hitch detatch" and a button on the large grid labeled as "module deploy".

However the proper order of operations to decouple all three components in gravity would be; handbrake on -> trailer jacks reverse (on trailer) -> hitch detatch (on rover) -> goose neck reverse (on trailer) -> module deploy (on large grid).

well for some print outs of blue prints dont place the controles properly and it gook a bit to figure things out on how to dismantel into the 3 main parts

@ DakuTatsu

Blueprints for the truck, trailer, and module, or blueprints for each subgrid? I figured to upload all three components attatched so its ready to go out of the box, and if users wanted to, they could split it apart and take blueprints of all the sections they desired.

I figured from a third person perspective it would be more attractive to have a simple one click subscribe vs downloading a world, or piecing together seperately subscribed blueprints.

If I do end up creating more modules or different trailers, I would upload those as their own seperate bluprint.
DakuTatsu 26. sep. 2018 kl. 18:09
i would love to see blueprints of each part seprate

Now that's engineering! Nice!

That is really cool.
