Love the mod but I find it a bit under powered. Can you tell me the .ini path or sixdigit number so I can find the ini and modify it please?

I want to subscribe to "weapons" mods but I need to know if the concerned weapons are upgradable. I mean, will they become more powerful once the tier 2/tier3 researchs are done?

The SFX is fixed, but the animation is still screwed up.

Pushed out an update to the weapon today. It's now using the WotC PBR shader, vanilla stats for range and construction fees, and should have a fix for the double shot SFX bug

Yeah, the shot and sound occur about a full second early in the animation.

Yeah, I'm having the same thing as Orion; the weapon looks like it fires before my sniper has actually finishing taking aim. Kinda jarring.

I have an issue in which the shot fires before the animation for the recoil. Is it a common thing or should I fix something?

I gave it a wider spread and higher clip because it was a lower damage weapon in the games. Same thing with the other weapons I've done.

would you be able to do the black widow from ME3? also great mod! small issue when using mods like a better barracks as it massively changes the damage to 2-6 making it not worth using.

Though, its a bit annoying it does 4-8dmg and tier3 and makes a double sound.
I did enable it mid-campaign though so that could be the reason.

Also not sure if it has been mentioned, but the Sniper makes a sound effect of firing twice, even though it only shoots one shot.

Thank you for this. Great mod. Just wondering if you would please add the flashlight affect to the M8 and the M97 sniper? Your other weapons have the flashlight, just not these that I have observed. Thanks ;)

@SnarkDriver That's because of damage spread. It's got a base of 4, but the total possible damage is 4+/-2.

@Panther Probably going to try and knock that out later actually.

All you need to do now is make a M-3 Predator and we'll have access to a complete ME armory of weaponry for all the classes.

For some reason, damage is showing as 2-6 instead of 4-6.

@joker No plans for vanilla. You're welcome to try and port these, but I'm not downloading another 50gb for just a vanilla port.

Thanks everyone for your support! I figured that out: an old .ini file was somehow in conflict with this mod and clearing the folder in My Games solved the issue.
Special thanks to Lord_Poncho57 for bringing ME weapons to WotC, it was the last detail for my "XCOM Effect" campaign! Waiting for more

Hi i used ur M97 and still not missing the texture on crew menu, it appears like ur screen.
Maybe it's a conflict with another mod @AleKrios ?

@AleKrios He's referring to my mod folder. I won't get into details about how modding work, but there are two versions of XCom 2 mods. Source files, and compiled. Anything in the mods folder are the compiled versions. I'll probably try and wrap up the Katana I've got going on right now, and try and fix the Viper.

@Conescraper: Expansion, not DLC. and because WoTC has far better mod tools. that and the Viper actually already exists as a Vanilla mod. use that version.

I tried switching settings to both minimum and ultra but didn't work. I also downloaded again the mod but nothing changed... Didn't find the folder Cavily was talking about, any other ideas? All of your other mods work just fine, it's just this one.

Not sure if you know this already but clearing out steamapps\common\XCOM 2 War of the Chosen SDK\XComGame\Mods folder and rebuilding the mod tends to fix the missing texture issue in most cases. Haven't checked yet if the textures are missing in my game though.

@FSK Seph and AleKrios Not sure what's causing it, might be related to your settings. It's working fine for me in regular WotC, and not just the debug build. As seen here anyways https://i.imgur.com/Zco6tyW.jpg

@Kravis Probably going to try and whip up an M-23 Katana next. Hopefully shotguns aren't as weird as snipers anyways.

@Conescaper WOTC is required because I built the mod for the dlc. Highly doubt it'd work with vanilla.

I started a new campaign to test it but when equipped it has no texture. Just a black viper thing...
