hi mark, this is a very old script designed to work with very old shields. I have a few other versions on my workshop for working with other shield mods in tandem - though frankly they became unneeded after darkstar added in HUD elements for his shields. When this script was written there was only one shield mod. now there are many.
I know darkstars weapon core shield mod has its own hud element now, the old shield mod this script was built for is not really in use currently.

Could you send me a link to the shield mod you are needing a script for please, ill be happy to look into this. I know there are new non weapon core shield mods in addtiion to the old one that now exist, so i need to know which one you need a script for.

So I've noticed this script is in a bunch of collections including collections for private servers - Just want to let you know that I have a have a few variants of this script in my workshop along with several others you might find useful too. All my scripts are kept low impact so they are all suitable for multiplayer, If I ever make one that isn't I'll be sure to say so in the description.

That sounds like an amazing idea, kind of like how Star Trek has forcefields for structural integrity.

I think it can be done as I've seen it on other scripts in the past but those are a little too outdated but thank you for answering my question it's great when the creator of something actually gets back to people on questions.

AdmiralFolfe377 Currently I don't believe so, its designed for cythons (and you would have to change the tags/names to check. Darkstars mod has an on HUD display any way so i dont think its needed - If you want I can look into making a lcd script for displaying the info from darkstars shields.
Personally I often use both types of shielding in my games, sometimes both on the same craft, Dark stars as primary shields and cythons as 'structural integrity'.
Making a script to display both as one script and or seperate lcds is entirely possible i believe.
Id be happy to hear your opinions on this as im trying to develop a good collection of display scripts for cockpits/bridge consoles.

The tag for the LCD is "[Shield]". This can be changed in the script itself. The Tag for the Shield Generators is "Shield Generator" which is the default name for cythons energy shields.

This is an update and bug fix of Energy Shields - (Smple) Status on LCD by Scad.Launcher

Fixes:
1. order of algorithm changed from XY to X+Y where x is shields count and Y is lcd count.
2. Script no longer needs to be recompiled/run manually on start.
3. Script now accounts for shields being added and removed correctly including connecting/disconnecting grids.
