To get the jungle trees I'm using in my latest tree replacements and also v8, you need v2 of this mod.
That one still has the coloring of my trees v2 though (overall a little less saturated, most notably on the bamboo leaves) - it's not that obvious due to the size though.
If you think that doesn't fit with my latest terrain well, I can upload a version that implements my latest tree adjustments.
To cover the AK trees as well, you need my default pussywood mod too for now, giving it a lower priority than this mod.
All mods already upgraded have a 'new workshop' with the new tags at the upper right.
All other an 'old workshop'.
This helps AoE not to mess up what mods you're still using or not.
1) unsub
2) just delete everything from AoE/mods
3) verify game
4) praise lord gaben
5) subsribe
6) profit
And glad you like it.
In case you prefer my other jungle trees, there is also a v2 of this mod available. :)
The only solution to add trees would be to edit the dat file and add/edit units - and dat file mods tend to be broken by patches, like the rotting units and stuff - so you'd have to redo it pretty often. Beside this you can only use one dat file mod at a time, so this would be incompatible with all mega ressource, rotting corpse, ... mods. And you could only play with people in mp that also use this mod.
In case you like my other jungle trees (the StarWars ones), I did a v2 of this mod using them.
What also helped me was reducing the amount of mods. Seems my steam doesn't take new subscriptions into account when already using 30 mods. But when I unsubscribed some scenarios, everthing went well. And the scenarios were still available. Seems as that are addiational files, but no changed ones - steam doesn't delete them automatically.
Also verifying means to delete ALL changed files. They are redownloaded at next game start, while the intro. Cancelling before the AoK video cancels downloading mod data as well. And the more mods you have subscribed the longer it takes. Sometimes I had to start the game 2 or 3 times.
