I'm a big fan of your work,Stronghold of the Samurai. I also really enjoy the Fall of the Samurai campaign, but I feel that siege battles there don’t quite reach their full potential in this campaign in particular. The introduction of artillery completely changes the paradigm and strategies of sieges, and that’s why I’m considering creating a mod based on your work to “modernize” the SOTS castles making them feel more authentic to FOTS, both visually and in terms of gameplay.
Taking all of this into account, I wanted to kindly ask for your permission to use your work as a foundation. Of course, I will give you full and proper credit for your work.
Buggy but still good, does it changes maps for fots and rots ?
If you want you check: first you need to see on what map the settlement is set; the order for the province type that is set to be Gassan-toda is like this: level 1: Aki; Level 2 Karasuyama; Level 3: Gassan Toda. If you find the province that has level 1 as Aki or level 2 as karasuyama you upgrade it to level 3 and get Gassan toda. Hope that helps!
But does it work well with Expanded Japan mod? If not, please help it work well, tyvm!
I learned a lot about map making and if you have any suggestions or issues please report and I will do my best to improve the maps even further. I am now working to bring the maps to MOSS with Engineer Weierstrass.
