Oh one more thing.
In the end it was called demo. I see there's no updates on it but I'd really want to continue that. You even could create a good campaign with some help maybe. Cause it was pretty cool.
I'd love to play it again in a full version or campaign or anything else.
Maybe you do have something else like this that I don't know about ? (maybe in BG3 ? even though I don't have it and my pc is really bad lol)
It would be great

Please make compatible with adventure port hub!

Hey, Nimue and Windemere! As someone trying to create a little adventure myself I really enjoyed seeing this guy in action and spotting how you pulled off some of the things in the mod as I played. Do you happen to know how I can open up the Noisy Crypt in the editor myself to poke around and see how things are setup? I've checked out some Origins levels but they are definitely a bit too complex for me to parse easily. I figured it would be easy to add your guys' project to my editor and open it up but I'm not having much luck haha. Either way, thanks for the mod!

@ TheTweedinat0r - That should not be possible - the NPC *is* scripted to prevent stealing the wrappings (which makes sense, since she's stuck in them). Can you provide some more detail on how you managed to pickpocket them?

Can complete in a few minutes if you pick pocket the thief, take the wrappings then deliver them to Morty, could the NPC be scripted to remove this?

Thank you for the tips! I'm in the Discord now, though I can oinly read posts since I don't have a phone to verify my account with. Regardless, there's a lot of useful info there. I also stumbled upon your YouTube channel and am going through your tutorials ATM, I greatly appreciate you spreading the knowledge.

@TheBlackpixel - Thank you for the note! We had fun with this, it was a nice way to cut our teeth on the tools. Always great to have more people modding the game. If you decide to give it a try, do check out the Larian discord server and the modding channels for DOS2. It's the best place to learn and ask questions, though some of the energy is currently diverted to BG3 naturally. :)

Nice work, this one had me cracking up, clever writing and no bugs. Finding the hawthorne did take a while though. All around very nicely done, too bad there aren't more mods like this.

I'm considering getting into modding DOS2 as well, I've worked on Skyrim for several years now and DOS2 is one of my favourite games. Here's to hoping I ever produce something like this :cozyspaceengineersc:

Really enjoyable short and sweet adventure!

@BartiriX Wouldn't help even if i had 20 pages of tutorials, i'm just not built for scripting.
BartiriX 15 Sep, 2019 @ 4:09am
@Gguy hey man, what languages have you tried programming in? I started out with learning C# in Unity. They've got really great tutorials, both community made and 1st party. Their documentation is also mostly great for learning how to read code and interpret documentations. Really could recommend playing around in it a bit.
Gguy 10 Sep, 2019 @ 6:37am
@Windemere Believe me, i spent the last 2 years attempting to script with various if/then based scripting languages and i never managed to make anything worthwhile. I know just about every other aspect of divinity OS 2 modding, but this will forever elude me.

Anyway, thanks for the quest, it was fun.
Windemere  [author] 9 Sep, 2019 @ 10:38am
@Gguy - Sorry to hear that. I am hoping that if BG3 gets modding, they build more basic functions into the dialog editor and journal so that they do not require as much scripting just to do the straightforward narrative components. Also, did you join the discord community and check out some of the pinned messages in the modding channels to see if they help?
Gguy 9 Sep, 2019 @ 10:06am
@nimue @Windemere That was mighty impressive and it makes me sad that i am incapable of scripting (too much information to keep track of, too much stuff to remember and a lack of in depth video tutorials for complete scripting dummies that get lost in 2 sentences.) There are so many lore friendly stories i wish to make, but am incapable of doing so due to this one missing link.

@unironed - appreciate the comment, thanks for playing!

Really nice mini-adventure with a good level of polish. Many thanks for making!

Thank you, @LurkMoar. I enjoyed Nimue's work with the dialog too. :)

Thank you for making this quest. I enjoyed the alchemist puzzle and the dialogue was fun. Please continue to make more.

@Neonroad - Ha ha, you very well might be! Glad you had fun, thank you for commenting.

I had a blast! The lighting did make it difficult to find the necessary ingredients but once I figured it out I felt like an absolute genius. Well done!
