My computer went down and have been using an old DX 10 machine that doesn't run this. Just got it up and running and am trying to get this mod back up. That said, even though it says it cannot be activated it actually is, and works.

Please note you still cannot use it with other mods that make changes to units, etc. They will step on each other.

I haven't tried SnakesBlood's idea, but that probably will work. I will try to get my files in order and update this thing properly, but in the meantime know that it should still work fine.

Update manually, go to any mod's folder(steamlibrary, steamapps, workshop, content, 572410-- open the config file and change ONLY ModGenVersion to 300102836 . Fixed all of your mods(mine at least ;) ) Time to dust of your old mods!

can you update this?

Just because it says it can't be activated does NOT mean it doesn't work.

difference between this and the official version of this mod?

Yes, the Mod is not really wqorking as the game tells you it can not be activated.

It works for me. Phases are a good idea for missions that have no time limitation. But in some missions in the campaign where you are required to race a tight schedule or race against time, you need everything you've got in the line. So this mod is a must have for all players. And it is not cheating. Thank you very much for sharing this.

Added a link to the mod files, if you want you can go ahead and make any changes you see fit. Have fun. You'll need the 7zip utility found free online.

We could call it dephased, phase times zero, no phase...

Rename this to 'Unphased'.

Carl Marx: Didn't change a thing, these computer things can be weird.

Farmo-Jones: When I first started modding this game Windows kept deleting my files in the Mods folder. I'm not sure why, so I had to delete the game and re-install. Could have been a permissions issue or something, but nothing would work.

Its working now. If you changed anything Its fixed my problem.

Also, I recall having to uninstall and reinstall the whole game once to get certain mods to work.

Glad it works, I think there are a number of possible issues. First try to restart the game and steam. You can also double check the files are downloaded in the workshop folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content
Steam maybe didn't download them. Also verify your game files.

It isn't easy to mod the game at first, I spent a lot of time just trying to interpret the online materials and getting nowhere. Eventually I got the order of operations down and it clicked. There are a few initial steps you have to do that are very rarely mentioned online.

Just confirmed that it does work, shows up in mod menu and does what it says on the tin. Tried this myself a while ago, love to know how you got a mod to work with this game at all i just could not get the game run my mod.
Jarl Marx 15 Sep, 2018 @ 6:59pm
yeah this doesnt work, in the mod menu it shows up as blank

That is a good idea, at least while we wait for the original makers to do something or perhaps make their mod open source this shall do.

Glad people figured it out.

It could be compatible if the developers of the mods made their files available. I just use a macro in notepad++ to change all the availabilities to phase A. If you're interested you could ask the mod developers if they would allow it and make their mod files public for modding.

I will probably put a link up for my files so people could mod the mod if they want. (will be later as the files aren't available to me right now)
Voxel 14 Sep, 2018 @ 11:09am
I wish this was compatible with more mods
Slugger 13 Sep, 2018 @ 7:57am
Works fine! You have to activate the Mod ingame too!
md1453  [author] 10 Sep, 2018 @ 6:46am
I uploaded a picture to show what you get: all units show up in phase A. This changes all units so you can't use this with any other mod that changes units as well. This is true for all gameplay changing mods.

Doesn't work
