Hi gASK! I just wanted to leave a comment to let you know how much I appreciate this mod. In my current save file, I'm still on the starting island, but I can already tell that I'll be relying on it much more as I progress.

Save Anywhere cheat mod is redundant now.
The Arcade mod has the feature.

if you choose to pay the cost, you recover according amount of stamina (or missing health if you pay more over stamina).

Cost gotta be OPTIONAL, obviously - it's a compromise between your vision and Tom's.

Thanks for the suggestions, but this is not meant to be a "balanced game mod", it is really a helper tool for people who need to be able to save at any time. This also means I will not add any cost whatsoever.

Also, what about that Magnum mod?

Make thiis cost Focus, and restore Stamina per same ratio as for Magic Kitchen bread synthesis. If 0 Focus invested, 0 stamina is restored. Max Focus investment should be capped by missing stamina + missing health (i.e. mini synthesizer but without the capacity to make pies and alter gems). Also possibly make this Alchemist's gift upon restoring Forge+Kitchen, or Cass's gift upon convincing or killing the Mirrows (as before that point quests provide reasonable autosaves for time-constrained people).
MAYBE convert Sulfur to Focus at some ratio when on Science? (also, you're forgetting that a consumable emergency saver already exists - the TENT.

Sorry, but I won't - this is meant to be an emergency saver item for people who can't play without disturbances for hours.

I might make a "Cheat mod" later that will allow instant restore anywhere though.

Thanks! I included the Cheat more as a tag - the saving mechanic of the game as is is part of the challenge - you have to plan ahead and not get lured into exploring beyond your capabilities. There is a save item in game, but it is heavy and has limited uses.

This mod lessens the challenge,, but it might come in handy for people who are looking for more casual experience or need to be able to save at a moment's notice and leave the game.

This is a great and handy mod! Unless you wanted to garner attention so people would see this utility, I definately would not call this a cheat. Look at some of my screenshots to get an idea of some heavy cheats. Your save anywhere utility is a godsend, as having it where you can only save is when you sleep is quite disasterous. To spend 2 hours doing quests, then make it all the way back to save and crash, which is when I normally crash, is infuriating. Now I can save where ever I am and if I did something to crash me, I wont lose much work. Thanks, did an awsome job!
