Sadly my son Alex TD @uuugggg died June 2025. Can anyone tell me if I could/should report this to someone? And I know he made a lot of mods that people used and seemed to depend on. I really love this mod, it made transport podding much more viable.. also with the small pod to send gifts or small items. Is this coming to 1.4 eventually?

In the meantime, i edited out the code hooks in the xml to at leat have compatibility and the small pods.

Incompatible with Vanilla Power Expanded gas-powered transport pod launchers. It doesn't recognize the pod launcher as having any fuel in it, so it cannot be launched.

I want to use the small pods but I have run into an issue where I can construct one but it will immediately disappear afterwards. I use quite a few mods so that may be the issue but I cannot be sure.

Thanks for this; without it I wouldn't ever get off my island at the end of the world. The 66 tile range puts me in the middle of the ocean or on the southern ice sheet.. I didn't realize we can't somehow caravan across ocean tiles!

You can send things to a second colony, or your own caravans.

and I do think faction bases would accept drop pod gifts. Probably should test that!

hi, sorry for a noobish question, im only 3 in-game years old lol
but i thought the reason for drop pods in general, was to transport animals/ people with or without some extra items, to save on travelling time?

ive seen some people on youtube sending boomrats across their existing current colony when raiders appear (to launch them a bit nearer the raiders for fun :)

your mod with lighter pods requiring less fuel, sounds cool :) and ive actually installed a couple of extra / longer range drop pod mods for future... but, why would we only need to send items of not much weight somewhere, without people or animals too?
(as far as i know, when a faction asks for a batch of items to be delivered, we need to visit them in person and then deliver the items)?
